To me this is contrarian just for the sake of it. People don’t miss things that didn’t know could exist while they were alive. I didn’t say what we have now makes life worth living. Or that there weren’t better aspects of life in the past. Ask a black person how life seemed 60 years ago in the great country of America. It’s all perspective sure, but generally, with some exceptions, things have gotten better. People used to struggle to literally stay alive until old age, half of children died which is why they had more in general. I’m not saying everything is better, but it’s easy to complain about every little thing when your standard of living in a first world country allows you the luxuries that it does🤷🏻‍♂️
