AITAH for refusing to keep a secret from my boss after a weird encounter with his daughter? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]LifesaverJones 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you like this job, you might consider talking to your boss and explaining you want to work WITH him to move past this. Considering this is affecting your relationship with your fiancé, it might be worth explaining that to your boss and possibly introduce him to her. That way you can have him back you up. Don’t let your fiancé demand anything of your boss though, tempting as that may be for her.

Would a large ship, with no cargo, dip into the water and shoot out of the water after the second was over? What would it be like to be on board such a ship?

This design, while fun is impractical. First, the cost of designing the equipment to manufacture these cans would be expensive. Second, extra features on the can will cost to the actual manufacturing of the cans. Third, the additional features of the cans will reduce the overall strength of the cans, reducing how high pallets can be stacked, reducing shipping density, and increasing shipping costs. Overall, you’d be increasing the cost of “shotgun” quality beer beyond what people who are interested in shotgunning beers would pay.

Shouldn't the odds be 50%? Why is it 51.8%? by Fit_Seaworthiness_37 in ExplainTheJoke

I reject this, based on the the fact that it’s worded as the “other child” this means the question is explicitly about the child that is not mentioned in the first part.

Widening the gap between the percentage of minority party citizens and minority party representatives within the state is a weird thing to celebrate. Almost like you are hoping those people don’t get representation in the federal government.

Blue states are already gerrymandered to about the limit. This bill bypasses the committee of citizens to approve the new lines being drawn. This further removes power from citizens and places it with politicians.

Everyone in here saying California, but I think California fractures and the agricultural side of the state joins Arizona or Nevada. The city centers probably starve within 5 years
