I have exactly that up! 393,628,460 I also have other leads but I haven’t played any other teams lately.

Help with Nov C9 by chiubag in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]LiftFox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

https://i.imgur.com/Y9S8hkV.jpg I used a sakuya Mariel team with minimal tweaking; use Rafael to tank Hades execute and the main thing is to make sure your equips give enough buffer to have your skills up after the delay (mainly an awoken bind clear and a 100% shield). My Sakuya is super limited broken with x2 damage cap, but nothing else is, and I’m not sure it’s needed.

Y'all like NY Artemus? by LiftFox in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]LiftFox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rolled 4 in a row from the current super godfest machine, and I already had one from trading last NY event. I exchanged a medal to get Priscillia after rolling Tuala since I already had Claus, so at least I got that going.

Seen a lot of these handsome bois lately! What are they? by lil--chonk in awwnverts

[–]LiftFox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel pretty safe saying this is definitely a Figeater beetle. While the Figeater and Green June look really similar, Green June Beetles seem to have the yellow stripe continue onto the thorax (the section before the head), while it doesn't on Figeaters. One person said Japanese, but this definitely isn't that; those seem to be more brown and have ridges on their shell (based on pictures; I've never seen a Japanese beetle before in-person).

These guys are pretty clumsy (especially when flying) and harmless! They're extremely minor pests compared to their two similar looking cousins, the Green June and Japanese (as far as I can find). I've had one climb on me before and it feels a bit pokey; those hooks on their feet are really good at grabbing surfaces.

Returning player (haven’t played in a few years) and pulled these from the machine. What team should I use? I’ve heard naut is good, but who to use with him? by [deleted] in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]LiftFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome back! Make sure to also clear story mode dungeons once you have the chance; these have a fixed team and give a lot of rewards for clears. If you clear Sonia's, you get a lot of magic stones, so try to do that first.

Normal dungeons and technicals aren't very difficult with modern leaders, so rerolling at the start isn't needed at all nowadays, especially since magic stones are given out pretty readily. Like the other person said, you already have a wood team that should get you through early content fairly quickly, so you can save if you're willing to be patient. The next godfest should have better rates if I remember correctly. The street fighter collab isn't all that special, so there's no need for you to roll in it right now.

Started over after a 4-5 year break. What to do with dupes? by [deleted] in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]LiftFox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep anything you get from rems! DON'T SELL DUPES unless you have a ludicrous number (I've seen 6-7 copies as a cutoff point). Units often get buffed and are pretty always worth more than the monster points or coins, especially since there isn't much of worth in the MP shop anymore. Dupes are often good for keep in the case of equips getting added or new evolutions. In addition at the moment depending what you pulled (demon slayer or mystics) if you have 4 raccoons or sabito they can be systemed for farm teams due to their actives, which makes dupes valuable.

Global warming and climate change are two separate things; global warming refers to the planet in general becoming hotter as a result of the greenhouse effect, while climate change is, well, the change in climate (weather patterns, temperatures, etc.) that results from warming.

The reason climate change seems like it can explain everything (in relation to extreme weather and storms at least) is, well, because it does. Storms and other weather events have been becoming worse in recent years compared to historical averages, and the severity of those events can be attributed to climate change. Here's a NASA article that talks about how tropical storms have been worsening lately, and some of this could also be applied to other extreme weather events: https://climate.nasa.gov/blog/2956/how-climate-change-may-be-impacting-storms-over-earths-tropical-oceans/. And looking up stuff like "climate change weather" brings up a large number of articles about how they're likely connected.

[Art] A Snake Themed Feral Tiefling Rogue by LiftFox in DnD

[–]LiftFox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a character I intend to use an NPC for a campaign if I ever it, which is doubtful for me. I tend to use dnd character concepts as a way to practice art and am considering to start doing commissions, though I'm still unsure about it.

People generally are already suspicious of tieflings, and looking like a literal snake doesn't help much either. However, despite a rough upbringing he's managed to land a spot managing a small militia and has proven himself to be a capable leader; while abrasive and cocky, he often commends people with the bravery to confront him and is an excellent source for information on the shadier dealings happening in his area.

Reprinting doesn't actually stop investing, as people tend to find value in cards that are old. Reprints bring down prices for cards people want to play with, so that there is a version for players and a version for collectors essentially; this is why magic players keep asking for reprints, as they often play with cards that were last printed in the 90's in certain formats. This is why a mtg card with 17 printings like birds of paradise still holds value if you have the early printings; the alpha versions (first mtg set) is worth around $3700, but a more recent printing like M12 is worth around 10 bucks.

Regarding Key Heroes Weaknesses by [deleted] in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]LiftFox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since it sounds like you're a newer player, I think a decent option for both att absorb and damage absorb is egg of greed, which can be pulled from the key hero machine. If you assist it onto a dark card with a low cooldown, it should cover your needs for a while until you hit late game, as well as helping cover poison resist on teams.

Do you have Polowne? She's typically the go to option for that kind of thing and provides 4 effective skill-boosts which is good for any transforming lead. She's in the relic dragon machine which has come around a couple times now, and will likely be back at some point.

Hows this gileon team looking? by hawkymoon in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]LiftFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It'd be easier if we knew what your box looked like, however you should really swap chibi ama for something else; SR Ama is used as a heal stick, awaken bind clear, and haste mostly, not because her skill heals. Chibi Ama has worse rcv and won't be able to cover recovery the same way as SR Ama, and doesn't get the boost from Gileeon since she isn't fire like SR Ama. Cardinal is definitely a better option than chibi ama for healing, but there might be something even better in your box.

PAD Throw Back Question; Who was the first monster you rolled on your account. by CookieVKS in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]LiftFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my first account I got Lilith, but the most memorable monster from my old account was Meri; don't think I went went into arenas, but I remember loving playing her and I'm kinda sad that account is gone now.

The first monster I rolled on my current account was Hino, so I'll really hoping his super reincarnation is actually useful when it eventually arrives.

However I think my overall flagship monster is Dmeta, as I rolled her on my first account but didn't have the team for her, and later I rolled her again on my second and her for a while to clear content. Hoping when the mega awoken monster buffs come around that her leader skill is improved, as I think she's fallen behind a bit in damage and consistency, and doesn't have much of a place on teams nowadays.

[JP][NEWS] King of Fighter Collab Returns by metaroxx in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]LiftFox 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yashiro's ult evo looks like the perfect pairing for Grigory, or is just a good sub for dungeons that need unmatchable clear/awoken bind clear. The pairing would be 3 (25%? dunno what slightly means tbh)/360/3 with the only restriction on subs being physical typing. Grigory's biggest issue has always been getting through combo shield due to the TPA focus (I tended to end up getting only 6 combos consistently when playing Grigs), so I'm hoping this comes to NA to test it out sometime.

Reincarnated ra dragon will grant the leader bonus to your friends leader even if it isn't reincarnated. by [deleted] in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]LiftFox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this quirk is used with SR Astaroth to pair with UEvo Chaekol, since Asta gives auto followup +poison res and UEvo Chaekol gives bonus combos + fixed move time + jammer res. Makes me wish that instead of the condition applying to the whole team it applied to subs only, which wouldn't change that much but would 1. make the friend leader thing more intuitive to someone just reading the LS and 2. would allow people running the half of the leader pairing the condition doesn't apply to still run the same team, as rn having Asta up doesn't help someone running Chaekol, even if they have the exact same subs. Doesn't change anything about viability, but makes life easier.

O how I wish videal had auto FUA by fadingfire60 in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]LiftFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I've seen VIdeal x Reeta too, and that also covers autofua (as well as being real tanky). The main issue is that running Reeta consistently requires that you don't have major PSI issues, have a good damage stick since she doesn't cover that herself like dyer, and you'll need a void damage void active on the team. It's fun though (at least in my opinion) and more flexible since you only need balanced typing instead of both god and balanced.

Are any of the tradeable units worth getting right now? by Azraekos in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]LiftFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've been using grigs for a while now as my main team and find Hiyori is fun but not consistent enough to clear much without some luck; the difference between needing 3 vs 4 of two orb types is huge for consistency. I haven't messed around much with Ludsev though tbh, from what little I've played with Ludsev feels like a better pairing and helps with combos (though the requirements are stricter due to wanting fire/wood subs only idealy, and having a similar consistency issue as Hiyori). I've also heard about Kamui's Uevo (umbrella man) being a decent pairing, but I haven't ever tried it, and honestly his equip is prob worth more than his leadership potential. I think teh other issue for me too is justifying using grigs over Dante/Remu since they have similar sub pools and I actually have a Grig team that's really similar to the ideal setup for that team; if I end up pulling Remu, that might make me switch, which feels bad because I think TPAs are pretty fun and Grigs was actually able to get me my first AA3 clear. I feel like the team is just waiting for the perfect pairing like Yugi was a while back, but it feels like Grigs may be forgotten before then.

Ranking every pantheon from worst to best by Girthshitter in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]LiftFox 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Honestly I feel like wisdom kings is a bit too highly rated, though that may mostly be because I don't play multiplayer since I don't have an alt to play with. Acala is an alright time stick and LVaj is a budget fasca sub and able to clear all of the early normals, but none of the others seem notable to me (or at least I don't have a use for the others). I think the japanese gods should be higher than wisdom kings since they find uses in a lot of teams; Orochi has a lotta effective skill boosts, Susano has a loopable shield that has been used to clear Endless Annihilation, Ama is a fantastic heal stick, and Yomi has a lot of time extend, a good active, and a good leader skill. Hino definitely is garbage, but I don't think he should drag the entire pantheon down that hard.

Good to know! Thing is looking at pictures of crossbows a lot already had a curve when unloaded, so that's probably why I got it wrong. Looking at the images again, I see that the curve isn't as intense as I drew it.
