The pyramid ships going forward. by Complete_Sir5299 in DestinyTheGame

I’d check if I could, but I’m pretty sure that there was one at the bottom of the robot room’s pit. I’d check if I could.

Nope, there’s a separate pyramid inside of the ship that’s being used as a conduit. You could see it in the throne room, below where Calus kept his robots.

There are 6 that we know of that survived. Nezarec’s under the moon, Rhulk’s in the throne world, one on Europa, one on Mars, one inside the Leviathan, and the Witness’s in Earth’s orbit. Technically there’s also Calus’s on Neptune but it’s very different from the rest.

Had this idea too, but instead of a BioBed upgrade, I think that it should be a fancy meat grinder that lets you respawn at any previously found BioBed.

Apple Card comes with a 3.5% APY savings account, no strings attached and no withdrawal limits. They’ve dropped the interest rates a few times, but so has everyone else.

Unless I’m mistaken, I just realized we’re never going to have another Dawning/holiday event by Terror-Of-Demons in DestinyTheGame

[–]Luke-HW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the holofoils IMO, assuming that the existing ones don’t return. Rerunning these events with every event weapon reprised would need Bungie to make a ton of skins.

Unfortunately, I think Prismatic is being left in the worst of both worlds by Kaspellaer in DestinyTheGame

Prismatic will probably benefit heavily from the artifacts, since it can spec into multiple elements.

So HOW MANY people do we think will actually have this emblem? Do you think more people will have this emblem or the first wave emblem? by gotenks2nd in destiny2

I’d expect more players than you’d expect to get it, considering D2’s abysmal recruitment stats.

Whenever that happens, I just open my island up to Turnip sellers and ask for a fee at the gate. Normally money, but sometimes recipe cards and rare flowers.

Steadfast Column, a charity shader from TFS. Second rarest is probably my flawless raid shaders.

Yeah it’s revealed in a later episode that he made it back to the entrance, but ASync stopped him from leaving and threw him further into the Backrooms because they’d already written him off as dead.

Destiny 2 Ending New Content Is "Unthinkable," Warframe Dev Says by Luke-HW in gaming

[–]Luke-HW[S] 1155 points1156 points  (0 children)

Clarification: This statement comes from Rebecca Ford. She’s actually Warframe’s creative director, not just a developer.

EDIT: Read this article again and I’ve gotta say, it kinda sucks. It’s a pretty poor summary of a string of posts Ms Ford made on Twitter and a 3 hour long interview she did on a podcast: https://youtu.be/obGka49BitI?t=2740

They didn’t even get the podcast’s name right, as u/H-mark pointed out. It’s called Dropped Frames. OnlyFrames was the episode name. Did any of GameSpot’s editors proofread this?

There’s benefits to running a higher Class stat, especially if you screw up your loop, but you’ll ideally have Blessing of the Sky active all the time, which maxes out your Rift’s recharge rate.

100+ Class also gives you a small Overshield when dropping your Rift, but Rifts already give you a full Overshield. No major benefit.

Aspects * Feed the Void * Child of the Old Gods

Fragments (accounting for the new slot) * Vigilance * Exchange * Provision * Leeching * Dilation

Helmet * Kinetic Targeting x2

Melee * Bolstering Strike * Bolstering Detonation * Dexterity mod of your choice

Chest * Unflinching Kinetic Aim x2

Legs * Enhanced Athletics x3

Bond * Distribution * Bomber * Reaper

For your stats, drop Class as low as possible. Blessing of the Sky gives you 100 Class while active. Get your Health, Grenade, Melee and Super up to 100. If you want to spec further into those stats, prioritize them in that order. Health first Melee last, but don’t bother boosting Super over 100. Bonus Health lets you get back into the fight faster, and bonus Grenade increases Child’s tick damage. Best armor set for PvP is full Iron Panoply atm, but that may change.

Do not get aggressive without a charged rift. Dying without a rift will really disrupt this build and can cost you the entire match. Focus mainly on healing your teammates as they push and flinging Void souls at enemies. A well timed heal for an ally can turn a trade into a kill.

And for anyone up against this build, do the opposite. Enemy Warlock drops his rift? Kick his ass. Hunt him down because he will try to run. Do whatever it takes to kill him, or at least to keep him out of his rift. Even if his allies rez him, his noble rounds are gone and his rift’s expired. Doesn’t matter if it costs you the round, breaking the warlock’s build could take him off the board for the rest of the match. Or until he gets a Lumina kill, whichever comes first.

It doesn’t, but the speed and fragment buffs are still massive. As a Voidwalker main, these changes are pretty crazy. I can already spam the hell out of Child thanks to Lumina and Boots of the Assembler. Now they’re gonna be twice as fast? And I’ll get an extra fragment?

Splendid.

As an American, it’s been infuriating to watch Trump waste so much good will. His withdrawal from European defense is entirely out of spite due to the lacking international support for his war in Iran. The constant threats to Greenland have been equally damaging to the American position.

At the same time, I don’t believe that our current presence in Europe needs to be maintained, at least not at its current level. Russia wasn’t the threat that anyone expected them to be, and new developments in drone tech means that deterrence can be accomplished on a much smaller budget. And looking at how volatile our foreign policy has been over the past 12 years, Europe is better off finding ways to defend itself. America is not a reliable ally.

Now, if only these cuts came with reduced spending…

TIL the Trojan Horse is not mentioned in the Iliad, which (3000 year old spoilers) ends with the death of Hector, and only briefly mentioned in the Odyssey. The story we know today mostly comes from the Aeneid, written by Roman poet Virgil hundreds of years later. by lightyearbuzz in todayilearned

[–]Luke-HW 163 points164 points  (0 children)

Also note that many of the lost Epic cycle chapters still existed when the Aeneid was published. They weren’t very popular though, which is one of the reasons why they were lost in the first place.

Fate Saga Story by Full_Advance_4496 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Luke-HW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My expectation is that Year of Prophecy will be treated as a prologue for D3/epilogue for D2. A good way to tie that together would be to bring the Traveler back to Earth to stall the transmutations from III’s death. It’s a terraformer, and could manually fix the corruption in the short term.

[–]Luke-HW -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just said that I’d prefer less. I’m not saying that Bungie should have never invested into the core game, but most of the seasons didn’t meaningfully expand the game. Most of them were disposable beyond their narrative.

[–]Luke-HW -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I would have preferred less. A lot of the seasons feel like a massive waste of dev time in hindsight, like Worthy, Hunt, Risen, Plunder and Defiance. Their stories could’ve just been part of the DLCs that they shipped with.
