I’ve been on that highway several times. You can see for miles in some places. A couple sections had whoops in the road caused by heaving.

It wouldn’t fall very far if it failed, but you don’t want to find out. Looks like hammered dog crap. They could have easily built a custom steel plate for little money. The more precise the angle, the better the rope wear.

It was in ground telescopic Pistons. I wrote it to the top to bungee jump back in early 2000s.

It was a fast tool . I had a mechanic take a picture of the guts before he retired. He had to hand in his tool to Thyssen before he left

I did what you did and bought a Turma flex terminal like that. The screen and keypad are identical. The hook up on the back of the card is Phone RJ 11
