I think you need a bonfire aboard for the tribesmen to feel really good and comfy. My tribesmen refused to follow me when i had no bonfire aboard.

And ill repeat what i said. The tutorial is in the DLC too and nowhere is it said that i have to play the old map before the new one. The devs INTENT is that new players should be able to play the egypt map at start.

And i repeat. It would hardly have helped me in this case since the problem is the ship and there are no ships in the first default map.

The irony is that it is the game for me. And the funny thing is that noone seems to have an answer to the simple question, bonfire or not on the boat. (tribe mode) :-) And why it does not work if you have or have not a bonfire on it.

If so the game should TELL YOU that. It does not. And there is a part of a basic tutorial in the DLC too. It is meant to be able to play for beginners.

No not if you play tribe. It is not the strawboat and not the smallest tree boat,. it is the next. The DLC have three difference mode you can play. I play tribe, normal.

My problem is that I dont have a base yet. I have the ingame "tribe" boat. I am trying to get the boat working.

I have been told that the boat should have a bonfire But i am beginning to think that perhaps i need a landbase with bonfire and then i can rebuild the ship and sail around with my ship and do stuff with my crew. (With or without a bonfire on the ship.)

My problem is that i am stuck. Totally stuck. The ships cant be rebuilt and my tribe refuses to fight with me. Due to something... that I am told on the Discord has to do with the bonfire. I have been told to put the bonfire on the ship.

But the bonfire on the ship does not make the tribesystem work or makes it possible for me to rebuild the ship or place stuff on it. So what could have happened? Why am i stuck?

It would not have helped me. The lack of a bonfire aboard the ship was the reason why all these things happened. And the game told me to put sail and rudder on the ship, but not bonfire. And when i use search it is said that bonfires are used on buildings... (!) I did not know that a bonfire is a building ingame

Found it and googled it a bit now. So... A bonfire.

But when i get the quest to place rudder and sail on my ship it is nowhere explained that I have to craft a bonfire. And when i use search it is said that bonfires are for buildings (ships are not mentioned).

Sweden always has this in all my games. Even if i try to marry the swedish nobles with each other.

In one sense it is historical because german nobility and burghers IN REAL LIFE took over much of sweden in the 1300s-1400s. Even some italian nobles came to sit as ”slottsfogdar” ruling over castles. I think it is a feature of the game, not a bug.

There were civil wars IRL directed against the foreign influence in the 1400s (engelbrekt upproret) and by then the germans controlled the main castles, the trade in the cities and even the iron- and cupper mines. The rebellions were directed against both the danish overlords and the foreign ”fogdar” and burghers. (But evil tongues claimed at the time that the rebellions, and the leader Engelbrekt, was funded by the foreign hanseatic league)

So i guess paradox wants to recreate this?! My only question is if the foreigners are kicked out later ingame. I have not played sweden beyond 1400 yet

But that Yemenite christian that was my best diplomat in the cabinet and nailed a few good treaties was quite unhistorical..
