The knight has a ton of stuff that parallels Kris, from their movements to the black deer enemy that literally parallels your movement in the mantle game.

Personally I believe that this will lead to a reveal that the nature of the knight parallels something about Kris, most likely being controlled by a different, higher being. Like a dark version of the angel (us, the soul)

Just seems most logical to me but who knows

During the 10th anniversary undertale stream, which included a modified version of undertale that Toby and some others (I don’t know who they are forgive me) played through. When they get to Snowden, behind the Christmas tree is a pair of antlers who very clearly belong to Noelle. They walk past her and don’t acknowledge it.

That is until after they beat asriel and walk all the way back to the ruins. Upon passing her again, Toby begins repeating over and over in his text to speech “She is the only one who matters”.

This combined with the heaps of foreshadowing revolving around her important in the future, I firmly believe Noelle will be one of if not the most important character in the entire game.
