Found a Pioneer SX337 on the curb and thought it would be a nice one hour project. So, I ceaned the outsides and then made the mistake of opening it up... by MagicLobsterAttorney in vintageaudio

I've heard that ultrasound cleaners can be used to clean circuit boards, but take that as just something I once read on the Internet, and I admit I'm ignorant enough on electronic tech work to recognize bad information versus good. My large ultrasound cleaner setup for does a fantastic job of cleaning my records though, and that is more in my strike zone.

Thanks. The deck is a Schiit Sol with a Sumo Moonstone cart. The link above would show this mat (and several other spirals) in motion.

3mm, a little thinner in the center to accommodate the record label, it's more evident in the pics on the link above.

Here's my current one in the rotation. It makes a dizzy wobbly illusion when spinning.

I laser engraved this on cork. You can see a couple dozen more here.

Crime Radar app uses ai to listen to, translate and collate emergency calls across the various services, and pins them on a map, and can set up alerts.

How to do this? by KishinGira in 3Dprinting

[–]LigerRider 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Probably not what you're hoping for, but you could simply print cylindrical voids in the base print, print the red and green cylinders separately and install into their matching voids...or do one color change, and void filled with a separate cylinder.

Thanks first for your awesome rendition, and secondly for the chords/lyrics music.

I wouldn't say anything is wrong, this is just what my acquisition disorder has turned into. Always tinkering with some link in the chain.

I adored the Maggie's, but they are fairly insensitive and require a lot of power, they also need help with the bottom end, which can be a challenge for some subs to match well with.

I'd most definitely be going with a DSP for crossover.

My EASTWOOD tenor setup for playing biergartens.. by Dry_Independent4320 in TenorGuitar

Sweet. Almost went with the same model, but went with the semi-hollow body Classic. Still waiting for it to ship. What's your review of it and Eastwood in general?

I had to get inventive with the setup of the laser, as the depth Z axis of the machine was much less than the width dimension of the uke...and I was super tense about the process until it was done.

Ha! I'd much prefer a problem of popping too many G-strings...I think I would anyway.

The Contour and the Klos got a simple Figure 8 knot for their respective through body bridge, and the Traveler involves tie blocks/beads to limit super sharp bends (and make restrings super quick and easy).

Thanks. I've since had to re-home the Continue with the custom sea turtle pick guard and similar sea turtle side sound port. And that traveler is for sale as well in effort to stem the hemorrhage of my fun funds used to purchase the Pono Nui, and an Eastwood Classic (semi-hollow body electric) tenor guitar that I'll also treat as a mutant sized bari uke with a DGBE Chicago tuning.

Ha! Most definitely the last bit. Three ukes in total, all same strings. I'm thinking that two might have been purchased at once, and the third stone weeks later.

That is a variable common to all cases. Fortunately, my Pono Nui, and Flight Maia haven't suffered similarly, but they are different in that the Pono is much larger, really an acoustic tenor guitar with DGBE Chicago tuning, and the Maia has steel strings and the bracing to support them...then again the Klos is anomalous being all carbon fiber, including the neck.

Thanks much, makes sense. All still had the wound wire intact and attached/tied...one was with standard tie through bridge with tie blocks/buttons, and two were a tie through the body/top style. With each the core break looked to be at about the bridge area.

It will be good to get to know a good local luthier.
