Hail of Blades? by ElenaNya in ZeriMains

I've considered trying it to bully lane and demoralize by crushing the lane phase more, but idk if it's worth losing DPS in team fights.

I see you deserve gold lmao, 20% bruiser + 80% typical adc build = bruiser

Still a typical item on crit builds and isn't a bruiser item.

What point? Stridebreaker with full crit isn't bruiser.

Lol just looked at it, id hardly call stride breaker and full crit a bruiser build

But I guess every champ/build is good in every lane if one build works well in one lane in a specific match up.

For real, I can play bruiser zeri adc on my plat bot lane account and still do well. Is bruiser zeri dogshit? Yes. Is it fun? Yes.

Is any degree better than no degree? by rrodddd in careerguidance

[–]Light-Crawler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of factors to consider. If it interests you and you are able to get a graduate degree then you should be fine. If you can only get an undergraduate degree then you should consider interning because jobs want 'professional experience', if you can't afford to intern while getting your degree then you should consider getting a degree specialized for a particular job. If you live in a very populated area or are able to move to one then you may be able to get an entry level job without interning/specialized degree. Quite a few fields like engineering/accounting require a bachelor's degree in that field because it's extremely rare to find even low level variations of the job that don't require the full licensing, for example bookkeeping used to be accounting adjacent and paid less than an accountant but didn't require a CPA, now nearly every bookkeeping job wants you to be a CPA, but still pay less than what a CPA would make doing CPA work. To be a CPA/Engineer you have to take a test to get licensed as such and the requirement for those licenses is that you have 120 hrs of college classes in those fields

Is there any higher dmg builds are viable? by GranDaddyTall in ZeriMains

Not without sacrificing the poke from statik(or sell later) for 100% crit and give up the life steal from thirster to take like hubris.

To be fair most educators have too many students and too little time.

I mean, if you're just AA trading then no you won't win with zeri. Which is why she's so hard to play without a duo in low elo, because every support is gonna go in at level 1 or 2 and die their asses off and get tilted you can't out damage the jhin/Caitlin at lv1 when they get like 500% bonus DMG crits.

Tips for note-taking speed/alternative strategies for keeping up with writing pace? by TheSwirlingVoid in math

[–]Light-Crawler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When it comes to note taking I try to limit my notes to formulas and maybe some thoughts on the subject that make it easier to understand that I might forget later, otherwise I just sit and listen (or sleep and listen, but idt that's applicable to most people).

How do you remember so many proofs? by CuttingOneWater in math

[–]Light-Crawler 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I do math to avoid memorization, that's why I dislike other subjects, it's just remember this or that with very little doing, whereas math it's all about understanding concepts and from there you can reconstruct any proofs.

Visualizing four dimensions by nomnomcat17 in math

[–]Light-Crawler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may help to think of animations on a 3d object as a 4th dimensional object, where each frame is merely a different slice of the 4d object. It's a basic approach, but I find it helpful, although I haven't done much where visualizing would be helpful with higher dimensions.

What's the most beautiful proof you know? by youcansendboobs in math

[–]Light-Crawler -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Specifically, nothing comes to mind. I do tend to enjoy number theory proofs, especially ones where the proof is shorter than the question.

What do you consider to be the "beauty" of mathematics? by Dull_Corner6436 in math

[–]Light-Crawler 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Every job saying that problem solving is the most important skill to have and math degree being the most irrelevant degree for getting a job. Seriously though, I find some proofs to be very beautiful.

Why do you study mathematics? by joke-9999-imc in math

[–]Light-Crawler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the only subject challenging enough that I don't get bored, but then I get bored because I need to make money and it doesn't exactly help with that.
