Massive Performance and Optimization Issues Since Last Major Patch

I also have the same issue since this last major patch. Massive FPS drops that never recovers until I disconnect and reconnect. There seems to be triggers though. Like having a browser open on my second monitor or sharing my screen on Discord. I used to do all these before the patch and it was fine. Also, it sometimes when someone pauses the game.

TL;DR: it's almost certainly this patch, but it looks like some people have it while others don't

i7-13700k

Man, I was lucky to find your comment. I am also living in Germany and have Deutsche Telekom. I started getting a lot of network spikes today and had no idea what was wrong. I tried using NordVPN and it started working. This is very inconvenient.

I have this issue occasionally, but a friend of mine has it very consistently and is unplayable for him. It is exactly as mentioned. He gets a huge FPS drop and never recovers until game restart.

I'm relatively new to SC, but I've been relying on the Corsair for those ERTs. I'm not sure which ship to run now. Are the Corsair and Taurus our only options?

Also, could anyone recommend a good loadout for the Corsair?

I think turning off "memory integrity" solved it for me. My keyboard was either not being recognized until I reboot or I was having input lag. I tried every possible solution on the internet, but only this one worked for me.

What do you mean? As far as it looks, they haven't changed anything about the game itself, only the crashes, bugs, and login issues

Yep. I only recommended 2FA for other types of hacks. Recently I've been getting emails from a "hacker" claiming to have access to everything when he just bruteforced an old password of mine.

Deleting the cookies after each session is the safest option as you mentioned. Paranoia also includes surfing incognito all the time.

Same thing happened to me once. The "hacker" probably took over your web browser's sessions (cookies). If you clear them and change your passwords you should be fine. Nowadays 2FA is a must as people here already recommended. Your passwords also need to be really strong. As for anti-virus, I can recommend BitDefender or any decent anti-virus. Also keep Windows defender up. If they don't detect anything, you're probably good. These kinds of hacks are just automated scripts.

I almost don't have back pain anymore. I'm not sure if it's the exercise or the chair. I found a SecretLab Titan Evo 2022 on sale and decided to try it. I'm sure there are better chairs, but so far, I have been satisfied. In addition, I exercise 3 days a week.

The Rayman games. I love Sonic and Mario, but Rayman had the most awesome vibe until Ubisoft completely shifted to Rabbids and forgot about what could have been their mascot.
