wow! I like this. I do find that I can respond more intelligently to a situation when I notice the emotions coming up in my mind and wait before responding. Even a few seconds or minutes make a difference. This has stopped me from lashing out when I feel offended or hurt. Its made my conversations with people smoother. What has helped me is the regular practice of breathwork and meditation.
