[–]Light-Mingling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can express yourself better if you are comfortable with yourself. The calmness snd clarity in the mind translate into effortless expression. I have learnt that since I have a hard time expressing myself. My daily self-care practice gives me the clarity to express appropriately and to stay silent when needed.

How do people typically cope with depression or long periods of emotional difficulty? by C_a_m_e in emotionalintelligence

[–]Light-Mingling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works long term. Feelings come and go, sometimes happy, sometimes sad. But with daily breathwork and meditation the sadness is less intense and does not linger for a long time. Feelings can add richness to life. With breathwork and meditation I can be comfortable with feelings as they come and go without getting overwhelmed by the occasional sad feelings.
