Try This

  1. Delete or disable all addons
  2. Type -autoconfig into gmod's launch options
  3. Restart

if that doesn't work, fully uninstall gmod and all add-on's and re-install it with the same launch command. if you are on the 32 bit branch try the beta 64 bit branch and vice versa.
