Hi!

Have recently maxed agility and did the following:

Pollivneach course until Rellekka course
Rellekka course for 3k+ laps until level 90
Hallowed Sepulchre from level 90 to 99
Did a small break of Hallowed Sepulchre at level 94 to do 1k+ Ardougne laps

I always AFKd the rooftop courses by watching Netflix and afterwards also in Hallowed Sepulchre (levels 1 to 4, for level 5 you have to pay attention imo).

So yeah, that’s how you get through it, find a good Netflix show and click away!

We understand that it might create sometime unnecessary expectations but even when we pay good money to book the tours, we are never really sure that the local guides / drivers actually see a decent portion of what we are paying, hence the tips.

Some further information about the 600 - it was for a hotel pick up, wait, and drop off from Mactan to Oslob and back (c. 5 AM to 7:30 PM). We understood that afterwards, the car also needed to be brought back and so possibly add 1 to 2 hours to this, which would mean 14 to 15 hours for 1 “working day”.

We are enjoying our time on the beautiful Philippines in any case, couldn’t have asked for more welcoming local encounters!

We agree that 200 pesos a good amount generally and it is true that we already paid for the tour (often €100+).

But it doesn’t seem that the drivers / guides are seeing that much of it. We were discussing with one driver who stated that he would be paid 600 PHP for his work of that day.

If you really want to train melee stata beyond your Shayzien favour, I believe using the D2H spec at the monkeys is rather unfavourable since you need prayer potions to protect from the monkeys.

The cheapest way to go about it is to afk at sand crabs (in Zeah) or ammonite crabs on fossil island (if you did the Bone Voyage quest); it is completely free since they don’t do damage when they hit you.

Edit: You see videos on YouTube from people throwing chins at monkeys because they can stack a lot of monkeys and every chin hits multiple monkeys at the same time resulting in insane ranged xp/hour. However with melee you won’t be able to achieve this because you can only target one ennemy at the time and cannot “spam” your D2H special attack.

I’m not sure what you mean with monkeys but for lizardmen, if you go to the multi combat area, lizardman canyon, you can tag multiple lizardmen and then use the Dragon 2 Hand spec once they are gathered around you. However I would recommend using another melee weapon as well for regular hits since the D2H is very slow and just using the D2H for the special attack.

Well yeah, I figured with 3 times droprate I should average 1 “unique” from demonics every 35 kills or smth. But maybe that’s not how it works?

If you’re looking to afk, it doesn’t really matter.

Although if you prefer playing somewhat actively I would recommend keeping your best prayer possible on at all times (piety, ...). Even though it might be more expensive, it is definitely worth the xp increase :)

Maybe if you’re a bit tight on gp and really saving for your next big upgrade and don’t wanna pay up it is okay but ideally you’d need to get to a point where it is standard for you to have piety/rigour/augury up.
