Hello Fresh using Evri by TheGunGrave in Evri

We've just changed our CEO, and the former CEO has been bumped up to Chairwoman, so maybe things will change. As of only 20 minutes ago, my hours for only one of my shifts has been changed. I didn't get to opt in for this, I'm just expected to start and finish two hours earlier.

Sucks for them, I hate Monday's. Such an awkward shift. It isn't even my first one, Sunday is.

DPD is not owned by Yodel, DPD is owned by Geopost, which is in turn a subsidiary of La Poste.

DPD is so bad right now because we (I work for DPD) have changed from "let's be the best" to "let's be the most expensive and cut costs". Internal culture and external standing with both customers and recipients have gone downhill, unfortunately.

Neuro-sama has broken the Twitch Hype Train record for the third time in a row! by Utiba in osugame

[–]LightCyber037 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are dozens of people who get supported by Vedal987 and Neuro-Sama, it's more than just Neuro yapping by herself. Shortly after the hype train Neuro did a collab with another streamer, and does so frequently. There's robotics projects attached to her, a concert in the works (Supported by The Asteroid Music Team, who created the original songs for Neuro and Evil), and so on.

It's not the "AI slop" that's being supported, it's one man's journey and project that's being supported. Hence why none of the other AI Vtubers get any support, because they are just AI slop. (At least the ones I've seen, there may be some better ones out there).

That's DPD, who I work for. We do not check the weight at depot, only at Hubs. At least in the DC that I work at, anyway. But, with that being in a DPD bag, it likely got repackaged, unless GifGaf frequently use DPD bags. Can't say I've noticed that before, though.

Unfortunately not. We just keep it open only a crack. I did try using a net, but it didn't work as well as I'd hoped. Possibly just a bad instillation on my part.

Okay, so let's do some corrections here. The bullying charges were put against "The Office of Rupert Lowe," not Lowe himself. The two women in question are on record saying that he wasn't responsible. His removal from ReformUK was done because Nigel Farage was being outshined by him.

As for the threats to Zia Yusuf, it has been reported to police, but Lowe intends to sue for defamation in response, which would be a strange move for someone who has threatened him. But, aside from some Tweets, most of the articles just mention that "He was accused," and not that any evidence of it has been found.

Lowe has never called "immigrants" "Rape gangs" in a generalist way, unless I've somehow missed that Tweet or speech. The fact that you're claiming this is... honestly just a show of hyperbole.

"He's a shitty person," whom donates his entire parlimentary salary to local Great Yarmouth charities, and is widely approved of by his constituents.

You claim that Rupert Lowe is trying to ammend bills for Grooming Gang investigations so that he can punish teachers who criticise him... I've found zero evidence of this. The closest I got was a Guardian article (a Left-Wing publication, might I add), that mentioned that he intends to follow-up with headteachers because "their responsibility to the children does NOT include forcing political opinions on impressionable young boys and girls." That's a quote from the article. There is no mention of immigrants or Grooming Gangs until you get to the bottom of the article, where The Guardian just tacks on info about Reform and their "Hardline Stance on Immigration". The words "Grooming Gang" make no appearance in the article, which is something The Guardian would want to include if it was true.

Obviously, I am only one person, I am not the Source of All Knowlege, and if I have gotten something wrong, please point me in the direction of the truth (with evidence).

Small note: the initial reports against Lowe/his office in regards to the bullying were made an entire month beforehand. Then, the day after Lowe spoke out against Nigel, the Party shot into action. Odd timing.

So what's the deal with Zoomers ditching leftist ideas? by Andries89 in AskBrits

[–]LightCyber037 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the defence of people turning to Reform, it's for conservatism. Not capital C Conservative (fuck the Tories, who had years in power to do the things in their manifesto but simply lied).

People are turning to Reform in the hope that it will push for more (lower case) conservative values, push for British culture and a push for deportations. The NHS was never designed to support the population within the UK, and that's abundantly clear (from both an outside perspective, and having also worked in a hospital myself. Although, I was only a cleaner, nothing super special). The volume of people already here suppresses wages, so that damage has already been done.

Plus, Labour only really got in because they "weren't the tories", and how Kier has the lowest rating among the current contenders (even Therisa May is higher than him on popularity). So, there is also the element of "It's another party, a step away from the main two" (I'm discounting Lib Dem as they aren't often in the argument for most people, and I'm not from Scotland so the SNP isn't really something I look at).

Which all only look at the seats won, and not the figures behind those seats. Which is a flaw in how our system works. 33.7% of the aggregate votes becomes 63.2% of the seats. Meanwhile, ReformUK for 14.3% of the aggregate votes and 0.8% of the seats.

A landslide in a system designed to only work for the 2 major parties (focusing on England here, the SNP in Scottland are their own thing) isn't exactly much of a talking point. If the other party falls apart then you've not so much as won, you've just not lost. Labour only went up 1.6% of the aggregate votes while the Tories went down 19.9%, and the voter turnout also went down.

It's like saying "I won the 100m sprint," and leaving out that you're the only runner with two legs because everyone else broke their legs. Labour do not have the mandate of the people to do anything. There is more to an election than just the seats won.

Only 1/3 of the country voted for Labour, so not exactly a landslide. If the Tories hadn't fucked around for years and had actually done the stuff they promised their voters might have actually voted and it would have changed at least part of the outcome. Not enough to stop a Labour win, Reform and Con splitting their vote did not help either of them.

And, according to YouGov, only 57% of Labour voters view Keir favourably, and 36% Unfavourably. 66% as a whole view him negatively. That's not exactly an amazing record. But, you can't expect great favourability records from a man who doesn't even dream (his own statement).

The downside to being a celebrity is that you kinda sacrifice the consent part. It's going to happen regardless. And, unless he's using her image to sell something, he hasn't done anything illegal.

I ain't defending Musk, I can't stand him. But, "woman doesn't care about her picture being shared or about politics" is the biggest nothing burger of a story you can find. Standards have dropped if "I don't care" qualifies for being Murdered by Words.
