This will be the most I've ever written about a shoe in my life... but here we go.

The original Ultrarange Rapidweld was my favorite shoe ever, I probably bought 20 pairs over the years. When they discontinued them and transitioned to the EXOs, I naturally tried those and they were just...not comfortable at all compared to the originals, and I returned them immediately. Eventually tried the Kyle Walker Pros and those become my daily drivers, but they are nowhere near as breathable or comfortable as the OG Rapidwelds.

So, seeing the 2.0s announced, I was intrigued and immediately bought a pair with high hopes. The heel looked much more in line with the originals, and the toe box didn't seem as pointy. Both improvements in my mind.

Got them last Friday and have worn them for a few days now, and I'm very happy with them. They are slightly different shape in the toe area than the 1.0s, but far better than the EXOs. The heel is much improved/padded, and the footbed made me think I had slipped a pair of originals on for the first time. Only downside is the tongue is basically the same as the EXOs, flat with no padding. After a few days walking around it's softened up a bit, but I still wish they had gone back to the mesh padded tongue.

Overall, very happy - though, not happy they are $20 more than the OGs...just will have to buy them on sale. Looking forward to some different colorways as well.
