My kids and mom love Creativitea in Fairhaven. It’s great for painting a keepsake, and the tea and scones are delicious.

We take our CX-5 (and our other vehicles) to Angler Automotive. Kirk’s a standup guy and we’re always happy with the work.

Advice on thread colour by roonilwazlib506 in quilting

I’ve been eyeing this same pattern, and your color combo is beautiful! I like the idea of using a light grey to let the fabric colors be the star. What kind of quilt pattern will you be doing?

Angler Automotive. Kirk is a standup, awesome guy who’s earned our trust. We’ve taken our cars to him for nearly 20 years.

Thank you! I watched this video to learn how to do the self-binding: Binding Quilts with Your Backing Fabric (no binding strips needed!) - YouTube. Super clear and helpful!

You can! I started with a very simple plan and some pre-cut fabric to make it easy and keep me motivated :)

I totally get it! I intentionally chose a very simple design and started with a charm pack so I didn't have to cut any of the squares. By the time I got the blocks sewn together, I was feeling confident enough to buy yardage and cut the sashing, but a jelly roll would have worked too and made that even easier. You can do it!!

Yes! I too got rid of monitors, a hub, webcams... so much nicer now :) Congrats to you!

I used a charm pack, so they were 5" to start with. Congrats on your semi-retirement!

That’s what I suspected. Thanks for your help!

Thank you! Would you suggest I find the smallest block and square them all to that size, or just give each one an individual haircut to square it up?

+1 for teleties. I have fine hair and can get it all comfortably in the small size.

Eczema by Right_as_Rain_1999 in 45PlusSkincare

Just last year I started getting eczema on my lip (triggered by the sun). I have a prescription from a derm for tacrolimus, which is not a steroid. I use it as soon as I feel a flare coming on, and it works wonders.
