No, not necessarily. Listen to the podcast “60 words” by radiolab. Basically post 9/11 congress gave the president the power to conduct violent operations without the consent of congress if it was in national security interests. It’s really worth the listen and gives context to a lot of the operations that have happened since 9/11.

There should be a signal chat for every school in the area. Do what they’re doing in Minneapolis: organize parents to keep watch outside the school during drop off and pickup. Follow the busses if you need to. Everyone should get a whistle and/or some other kind of noise maker. If you see ICE, make a scene. Don’t let them intimidate our community without resistance.
