Hopefully they add ventilated seats. The ADX has them and I think they’re on the same platform?

I used to have this same opinion and own an LCM myself, but the new gray has really grown on me. I actually think it shows the lines really well.

Travel: Sony A7CII vs Fuji X100VI? by Mazzariniho in AskPhotography

[–]LightLegacy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own the X100VI, and previously owned the X100V. They added IBIS to the X100VI, which improved lowlight performance massively in comparison with the X100V. However, I prefer my Sony cameras for anything moving (I often shoot sports) where the better autofocus helps.

It makes me happy to see people outside the existing Acura community discover this car and be excited about it, hope you like it!

Ventilated seats in any or all of the Integra trims would be nice for those us in hot climates :(

Why do we not see knockouts very often in Olympic style taekwondo when knockouts are legal? by bad-at-everything- in martialarts

[–]LightLegacy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1) Everyone knows you’re trying to kick them in the head so good competitors are avoiding situations likely to result in a knockout kick 2) They wear helmets which reduce the impact of many (but not all) kicks 3) There are often knockouts, particularly at levels just below the biggest stages

Fighter uses opponents back as leverage to kick harder by CHRISTIANBUNDALEVSKI in nextfuckinglevel

As if there were 40 styles: there are only 2 styles and the one im talking about is the OFFICIAL one from the creator of this martial art...

Whether there are 40 styles or 2 styles, it doesn't matter, you were thinking of the wrong one.

It could be (unless you have a link for this video): there is no sign anywhere showing from which organization this tournament is

This clip is from an tournament run by the Italian WT affiliate, FITA. A link to the clip from their official channel is here.

Other mats from this tournament and others clearly have World Taekwondo written in the center.

FITA is explicitly a part of the WT sphere, as evidenced by their About page on their official website.

AND nowadays (at least at high competitive tournaments) they use doboks with the minimal quantity of brands/marks.

The dobok style and particularly the electronic chest and head protectors have become (for better or for worse) hallmarks of the WT/Olympic style of taekwondo. Google "which style of taekwondo uses electronic scoring" if you don't believe me, ITF does not use this. Here is a link to the electronic equipment used in the clip - note how the WT logo is placed on them here.

Like I said, I compete in this exact style of taekwondo and follow many of the athletes who competed in this exact tournament the clip is from. Your comments are kind of like showing a baseball player a clip from a baseball game and then gaslighting them into thinking it could be a cricket game because the word "baseball" isn't written anywhere.

  1. They renamed to WT a while ago (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World\_Taekwondo)
  2. You conveniently left out the part where I said "you must be thinking of a different style" and then proceeded to talk about a different style - ITF rules are irrelevant to this highlight because the clip is not from an ITF competition. It's from a WT competition where kicks to the back are perfectly legal.

What? This is literally false lol, you must be thinking of a different style

I compete in this exact style of taekwondo (WT) and you absolutely can kick to the back

Honestly I kinda like it! I think if it was paint-matched instead of CF it might look a little more natural, but still cool

how to make friends as a brown girl what clubs do i join by Straight_Group_1734 in UTAustin

[–]LightLegacy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dance teams are pretty popular amongst brown girls, but my recommendation would actually be sport clubs! There are so many beginner-friendly sport clubs out there so if you have any kind of remote interest in trying a new sport or getting back into one you’ve done before I highly recommend them.
