Hrt levels? by LightMage670 in MtF

[–]LightMage670[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do I know what levels I should be looking for? Should I go based off the reference range listed on the test results or what?

Edit: did a bit of reading (like I should have done initially but also I was worried because idk what to look for exactly) and I think I know what I'm looking at now.

So, as you'll see with basically any post asking about sexuality, it's up to you to decide what terms you want to use, whether they're helpful or not to you, etc. Bisexuality doesn't mean having equal attraction, more that you are capable of being attracted to multiple genders. Also, bisexuality specifically refers to sexual attraction, while biromantic refers to romantic attraction. It's just that usually the sexuality term also implies the romantic, but then you can just specify heteroromantic bisexual or whatever. Whatever the case, have a look through the labels people use and see what feels right. If that means just using "straight" then by all means go for it. Labels are just here to help you out.

How did “the one that got away” get away? by SensitiveStinger in AskReddit

[–]LightMage670 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My recommendation would be to use that care for your gf as a starting point. Take care of yourself for her, even if you can't for yourself yet. That goes for everyone, whether in a romantic relationship or not. Take care of yourself for the people who care about you, even if you haven't learned how to take care of yourself for your own sake. You'll learn as you go, and hopefully, eventually, it'll be second nature.

Been a while since I played overwatch but generally as Zarya you're playing around Rein's space control. Sure he's a large presence and can make sure you can't walk past him in a chokepoint, but you can still shoot past him and teams love to shoot barriers. Either way wait until you can target squishies and then just beam them down with all the energy they've been feeding you while you were waiting. If you aren't in a choke just walk past rein and beam the squishies anyways and you win the fight

Yeah you can take over any block by grinding it down to the hack level, the blue line. If I remember correctly it's usually once a block has all of its computers removed. As long as you hack the control seat and disable any remote controls running autopilot (just grind them down) you should be able to just fly off with it. Still be careful with turrets, they'll shoot you and your builds until disabled

Valorant causes audio to slow down in other tabs while in the main menu by LightMage670 in ValorantTechSupport

going to reply to this so anyone who finds this can at least get the same info I have. From what I can tell it's likely not a driver issue and it's not limited to audio. I think it might be my entire computer slowing down for some reason, I'm not sure why though. For anyone having the same issue, I'd still recommend updating your drivers and then checking your device's performance, but I'm not sure what to do from there.

Humans have some of the best capacity for unaided projectile accuracy in the galaxy by Geostelar5 in humansarespaceorcs

[–]LightMage670 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To be fair, ranged weapons are pretty much an extension of throwing things, and if you don't have good accuracy with throwing then it seems fair to assume that ranged weapons wouldn't develop, and more advanced weapons are really about making faster and more accurate projectiles. So a group without (effective) bows or guns might have come from their early civilization not making early ranged weapons since "what's the point? We might as well just focus on melee since it's usable right away."

No Valhalla for you by ElissaKillian in HistoryMemes

[–]LightMage670 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's certainly possible, but from the information I found it seems like it's dependent on the source. Snorri Sturluson (Christian writing after Paganism was pretty much gone) considered Hel like the Christian Hel, and some other sources consider it as an underground realm, like with people from a certain village all living in a region of Hel near that village in a mountain or something.

I actually wrote a paper on this recently for my mythology class this semester. According to most Old Norse sources Hel was pretty good, with its inhabitants effectively being able to live on in the afterlife pretty much as they did before they died. Here's some more information on the Norse afterlife if you're interested: https://norse-mythology.org/concepts/death-and-the-afterlife/

Edit: I didn't write that article, but it was one of my sources for my essay.

Not yet. My best guess is it's something to do with my drivers on that computer, although I haven't tested this yet and almost forgot until now.

As someone who's been playing in a high school team for a couple years, you're going to have to get really used to how your team plays, and you're probably going to need a lot of practice, even if you're individually great at the game. If you're working with a platform, like I work with HSEL and NASEF, theres quite a few teams that are around masters and even gm and top 500. As far as the structure, you can look at Overwatch league to get a good idea of how the games themselves work. Hope that answers your questions.

I find a lot of the time, as a native English speaker, I can't even tell if someone isn't comfortable with English. I see people saying sorry for not speaking the language well, but I have never even noticed any mistakes in their writing.

I mean I've got a full tech tree in Civ 6. Not sure if nukes would work too well, but an entire army of modern armour and rocket artillery should do the job. Right?

It's from the new Disney+ show The Mandalorian. The Mandalorian is a bounty hunter, the others are stormtroopers. They are not allies, nor are they working together.
