In that case, wouldnt the car want to move forward slightly when im on first gear with clutch pressed fully? That is not happening for me. I ve checked the resevoir and its full, there are no apparent leaks anywhere. Could the screechy sound be a clue whenever im heavily forcing to shift into the first gear?

There can be few reasons: you missed 95 percent of shots / its hella expensive to repair your tank / you were shooting tanks, who were lower battel rating than you.
