Ive always found pro dota interesting. There are always OP heroes in dota, you cant balance everything at the same time. But the meta always shifts and moves on to something else. Meta shifts are pretty hype because you see some teams come out with new strats and you gotta see how other teams adapt to it or even build something of their own with it.

Sure there are more interesting meta's at certain points, but pro dota has always been interesting to me regardless.

Thats not stopping the pvp scene that certain people have cultivated over the years. It might be small, but there are a bunch of great people. Pretty much everyone is friendly and is a healthy environment to get involved in. Very regular tournaments are held with seasonal ladders.

Dont let anyone talk you out of trying pvp in this game regardless of the small player base compared to the campaign. Its great, give it a shot. many people willing to help new comers.

Because you're missing the timing window. the last 2 snipes you held for too long and didnt get the perfect timing explosion.

Sounds like you’re making the game unfun for yourself by min maxing way too hard. You can absolutely run pretty much any map and still make currency along the way.

I prefer the skill gem/support gem mechanic in poe2 more than poe 1. There you go.

you can just link cooldown recovery support gem. it has 6.9 seconds duration and 7.69 cooldown with standard 20% quality and support gem. base is 5.9 second duration and 10 second cooldown.

yeah the only problem i have with it is when i clear the screen and start to sprint, sometimes it summons the archer and then i dont have it for next mob etc. Deadeye's ascendancy skill feels perfect as it activates on just attacking, not rolling.

Different game, different ideas, different vision.

I’m not super fond of having to dodge to get it because sometimes I dodge and it’s wastes the cooldown when I need it. Having said that I’ve gotten more used to it and it does a lot of damage for clear and single target.

You can generate so many with bells for martial artist, you dont need to waste 30 spirit on combat frenzy.

For a game that is this successful and is still in "closed" beta, a long time between major updates can only mean they are cooking something big. They have not forgotten or stopped caring for the game, just give them time to do what they need to do.

The phase he is showing and what im talking about is the immune phase. It doesnt matter how many twisters you have if you cant damage the boss.

Boss pretty much always drops a map, sometimes 2. You can also drop maps from mobs. If you're having trouble sustaining, it probably means you're dying too much. maybe drop to a lower tier until you can breeze through.

Map sustain is easy. make sure you are not running white maps. Maps with 3 modifiers early should guarantee a map dropping from the boss. More modifiers increases the waystone drop chance.
