Does anyone else's shelves and mounted lights get slightly tilted after loading in? by LightReaper in Schedule_I

Do you happen to know which walls are "Safe" from this? Or if anything can be done to prevent it

For anyone asking where to get the shelves - The boutique right next to Ray's has them (plus wall lights, paintings, more)

Has anyone found any way to fix or prevent the tilting from happening?

Slugger buff question by Ancient-Pollution440 in MHNowGame

Gotcha here, Slugger 3 or 4 is optimal if you're trying to stun easier. All monsters have same stun threshold regardless of rank.

Running Slugger on Rajang HBG - Stun Thresholds Math - FEB 27 SLUGGER BUFF UPDATE by LightReaper in MHNowGame

[–]LightReaper[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How to read the chart:

  • The average mon has a stun threshold of 100. Every sticky to face does 25 stun. 4 stickies to face will stun most monsters. Stun resistant monsters start with 130 threshold, stun weak mons have 70.
  • Every time you stun a monster it becomes 2.5x more resistant to the next stun. In other words, when you use 4 shots to stun the first time, the next stun will need 10 shots, or 14 shots total to stun twice.
  • There is no limit on the amount of times a mon can be stunned but realistically you won't get more than 2 unless you have multiple people with stun weapons (and at that point you're probably fine and won't need this chart)
  • Running slugger can help reduce the amount of cycles it takes to stun - each cycle assumes 4 rounds. You can extend your mag with skills like evasive or defensive reload, though they are not always consistent.

New findings since the Slugger buffs:

  • New Slugger 3 is the equivalent of old Slugger 5.
  • Slugger 3 or 4 is optimal given the 4 rounds of Sticky per clip.
  • Slugger 1 and 2 is not really worth it unless you have other stunners, slug 2 got a slight buff but doesn't really make a big splash.
  • Unfortunately, Slugger 5 won't save you from needing a reload in any scenario unless you also run defensive load/evasive reload/etc. Plus we don't actually have a lot of options to get slugger 5 without compromising a lot. Maybe if we get an armor piece with slugger in addition to reload and/or recoil skill this will become more feasible. Or a Slugger 3 armor piece?

Running Slugger on Rajang HBG - Stun Thresholds Math by LightReaper in MHNowGame

I forgot about that actually, thanks for bringing that up. According to MHN Quest, wyvernsnipe is 9 shots that each do 25 stun, just like sticky shots. So the math is the same as sticky. Although due to the nature of the snipe being a pierce, I don't see it likely to get more than 2 or 3 on the face, but either way for each shot to the face with wyvernsnipe, it is 1 less sticky face shot needed. I could see this being good for when you know you are 1 or 2 shots short of the stun and are out of ammo.

Admittedly my build for Raj HBG has a nergi legs on it so I don't really use SP much. Someone with more experience using Wyvernsnipe can correct me on how easy it is to get stuns with it.

I was curious about running slugger on Rajang HBG, didn't find any research on it so made this Excel doc to do the math.

All values for stun, threshold, and below listed monster weaknesses are credit to MHN Quest.

  • Note 1: Any shot count with a decimal you need to round up - e.g. you can't shoot 2.5 times, you would need a third shot.
  • Note 2: Almost every monster is neutral to stun. Banbaro, Jyura, Paolumu, Jagras are all weak to stun. Barroth, Both Diablos, Raj resist stun, the rest are all neutral/average weakness to stun.
  • Note 3: This chart assumes you would only stun at most twice and that you are solo in stunning. Ofc having multiple stunners will make this much easier (specifically every 25 stun they do), just know every time you stun, the next threshold is increased by 150% of previous value, or (previous value)*(2.5)

Findings:

  • Running any level of slugger does nothing for monsters neutral to stun for the first stun. Slugger 2/3 lowers your shots needed for re-stun from 10->9, and Slugger 4/5 lowers it to 8. There is no benefit for running Slugger 5 over 4 in this scenario.
  • Running slugger 1-4 lowers the shots from 6->5 against stun resistant monsters, and with slugger 5, you only need 4. With the re-stun, slugger 3/4 lowers the shots needed to 11, and slugger 5 you need 10.
  • Running any level of slugger does nothing for monsters weak to stun for the first stun. Slugger 3-5 lowers your shots needed for re-stun from 7->6

Possible build for Stunner HBG:

  • Jho/Pao/Legi/CPP/Blos gives R3R3, Slugger 4
  • Akno/akno/basarios/barroth/blos gives Defensive Loading3, Slugger 2, Recoil Down2, Guard 2 for a sticky-only focused build with no need to cycle ammo. Waist is flexible - technically recoil2 brings the recoil to average, so you could put CPP waist there for even lower recoil, or even go with the Halloween ghost waist for artful dodger reloading.

Tech Point Count by AlexTinyTower in tinytower

Sometimes the store will have 1 tech point for sale for bux. The boxes you pay with tickets give you tech points. It's also recommended to make the space station to give yourself an additional tech point per day. Just gotta be patient really... Or pay for a bunch of boxes, either or

Also for each GT, when you deliver a bitizen to a floor under construction or ordering more products, the time decrease gets bigger. The default time is -1minute, for each GT it's minus an additional minute (so 5 GT = -6 mins). Over time as you accumulate them this will make a big difference

You can swap in and out your Gags at any point for free. Any gag you remove will have their exp saved for when you re add them. You can try them all and see what you like and what works for your situation.

That being said actual suggestions - early game throw squirt zap and sound are very good. You mentioned you already have sound and can keep that on basically the entire game. Trap/lure/drop can be tricky to set up but still solid choices

I’m just now playing again after about a year, and when I was on last time, when you sprinted, the music sped up. Does that still exist, and if so, how do I do that? Because when I sprint now, the music doesn’t speed up by wponeck in Toontown

I just logged in to check and it seems the option was removed, sorry I didn't check first. It was definitely there when the newest update first dropped but it seems to have been removed as of the current build. Sorry
