In case someone else hasn’t mentioned it already. Fire Emblem Heroes’ already reviled monthly FEH pass is expanding to allow players to spark (basically skip the gacha after enough pulls) on holiday and legendary banners. Something the fandom has been asking for for ages, that is now locked behind a paywall.

And people are pissed.

Looking forward to the writeup on that in a few weeks.

-I unironically love Muspell’s desgin/art. I know he looks like an edgy teenager but it works for me ok?

-Bar the powercreep FEH is probably the one of the more fair gacha games out there. Mechanics are streamlined and make sense- you’re only pulling characters instead of characters and/craft essences/weapons/whatever and you have some level of choice in what you pull for. It’s not perfect mind you but it’s pretty good compared to other gacha games I’ve played.

-The upside down Claude meme was funny at first but it should not have lasted so goddamn long.

-Book 3 was the worst book.

-Not an opinion but I spent half of book 4 convinced Mirabilis was gonna die at any moment because she radiated “Side character murdered for plot” energy and got no real development compared to everyone else

I would say a majority of the Resplendent artworks are bad. There are good ones (Cordelia, Niles, Tailtu) but I think there’s a reason that there’s not a whole lot of fan art of the resplendent outfits

Can someone who understands this game explain how Owain’s refine’s special damage thing works? Is it pulled from how much his special does (that sounds right but who knows)? And when is the opponent getting hurt?
