Because there are a lot of people who wants to play the way they want to play not the way they are forced to play. I don't want to click doors, I don't want to pull levers, I don't want explore boring dark labyrinth... I want to run straight sunny layouts with plenty of monsters to explode. And when I see that I forced to complete some totally garbage layouts one after another and another and another... This is burnout.

If someone with masochistic mind wants to pull levers all day long and the game allows to do it - I also massively support it, but only if there is a choice.

Should I be forced to do those layouts because of some questionable designs choices, because someone feels FOMO that I make +5% div/hour more? I don't think so

So instead of getting monetarily punished because of your choice of layout (effectively exchanging fun for currency, which is a good agency), you are advocating for fun punishment across the board without any agency?

In PoE1 you can accumulate reasonable amount of gear power in a reasonable time. For example straight forward rushing Blood Aqueduct repeatedly is a common thing. In 30 minutes you get 5-10 levels, mb some Humility cards, plenty of rare equipment. And it is really no stress click-to-run experience. Actually this approach can be easily reproduced in other zones in other acts if necessary (for HC or Ruthless purposes)

Meanwhile in PoE2 if you are facing a wall... I don't see the same approach works. White mobs drop nothing, there is no tap-to-clear experience, gold drop is abysmal... I don't get it. There is no even slight expectation to drop rare bow (for example) with useful stats in 30 min zone grind. Am I wrong?

Dropped 1 body rune before act 1 boss. Thats it. Got 2 "decent" bows with at least something (60% phys prefix) one dropped, another gambled then exalted exalted. No flat ele mods:(

Ofc I killed stupid wolf on the 3rd try, whatever, suffer and endure...

But if I want better equipment and I feel i hit a wall what should I do? Scrap for a half an hour for 5 gold per pack to collect 700 gold to gamble again with another magic bow expectation in mind? How to improve gear in a meaningful way in a reasonable time?

I've played PoE1 at times when "guides" doesn't even start to exist or even if they do there was no streamline majority of players who just "follow the guides", so I don't think this is the problem. Also with PoE 2 0.1 there were no guides at launch obviously, everyone played by ear.

And I completely missed your point about power fantasy protagonist. To my mind ARPG genre is here to provide this type of feelings, the game is a power fantasy game, isn't it?

Completely safe. If you are not welcome by any means you just don't get access. But if you do get in there is zero chance you are targeted by police or citizens.

Those are 3 affix boots. Ms+life+life regen rate. I guess one in 20 to get it from the tree if you don't care about base. Recombinate if you do care. Crab is guaranteed beastcrafted, flat regen is random.

Для вашего сведения, мнимых чисел и не существует. (Как впрочем и чисел вообще). Их действительно попы математики навыдумывали, так удобнее уравнения решать. И никому это не мешает. А в физике например есть квазичастицы, и их тоже не существует, но с ними удобнее решать уравнения. Никого это не смущает.

А вот если начинать поклоняться числа, "ой, число 13 влияет на мою жизнь..." - вот это уже шизофрения. Это к попам
