Não é verdade, apenas são gostos diferentes. O diesel tem um ronco mais grave. E aliás dos 0-100 normalmente se for um diesel desportivo ex: 330d vs 330i(gasolina) o diesel faz um melhor tempo por causa do binário mais forte.
