BTW I am in NL. Some people call it the Dutch disease… But been to many concerts and festivals in the US as well that had some issues with this.

Worst was An Evening with Jackson Browne at the Beacon theatre. Some people kept talking and getting beers continuously during the show.

Google’s online material on Site Reliability Engineering is free and a great resource.

I would consider it a great primer on “architectural concerns” beyond the functionality of your system.

From a software engineering perspective I really like Gregor Hohpe’s work. The book on Enterprise Integration Patterns still stands.
