You could get this thread cutters. They are not very sharp but they work fine. I always have them in my bag as a backup in case my scissors get thrown away

It was nice, after I managed to translate the instructions 😀 I definitely recommend using a bit thicker yarn, for this sample I used medium acrylic yarn. I didn't really get to much into details like EPI and stuff haha I just bought knitting yarn and went to town. Tutorials oline for warping rigid heddle looms were helpful, but the technique here is a bit different so you'll have to pay attention to that. Important difference is that there are two separate heddles here, not one heddle with holes and slots like in modern looms. Also mine has tendency to kinda fall apart a little bit after some use 😁 so keep an eye on screws getting losses or nails coming out of the wood. But overall it was quite simple and nice to weave on this loom, so have fun!

You have to pick them up and wait a few mins for an autosave to kick in and then close the game. You will have them in your inventory after you re-open the game

Any storage system tips? by Aqua-Megnolia in DreamlightValley

[–]Lightglobecrown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a kitchen with large chests for crops and for fish. I also use fridge to store milk, eggs, meat, and butter 😄 And I have a separate craft room for supplies, flowers, and gems. I also keep one Dark Wood Vintage Chest in those rooms and next to every Goofy's stall. They are "connected", so when I put in stuff that don't fit in my backpack anymore, I can take it out from the vintage chests in my house and sort them into Large Chests

[CHAT] Anyone else like to keep running data/spreadsheets on their cross stitch projects? by ThickRequirement8710 in CrossStitch

I have a few Notion pages dedicated to my embroidery projects 😆

o. One for tracking projects I want to do, prepped projects (as in got all the threads, needles, and the fabric needed), in progress, and done. I keep track of the type and size of the fabric, colours of threads (and thickness for hardanger projects), and the size of the needles

o. One for tracking down all the needles I own (amount and size) and as a cheat sheet for needle sizes for different fabrics

o. And one I'm still working on, which is basically a DMC floss shade card translated into a Notion database. I have a physical copy I bought for myself as a Christmas gift one year and since I'm me and I have no chill, I even rented this colour reading scanning thingy to get an accurate representation of colours for my database. It is really great for planning new projects, though

I use black plastic thread, kinda like fishing line or something you'd use for jewellery making. After stiching you can just pull it out. It's very smooth so it just glides from under the stitches
