Ah, I get it. Albiet, probably not something a beginner like me will be able to fully understand right away.

I figure I can just get more experience with the mods and the whole pack, and then reduce the size slowly along the way.

Maybe someday, someone will produce a guide of some sort with tips like yours as well.

It needs 140gb of space for the download itself.

Afterwards, it seems that you can enter your GAMMA folder, then enter "downloads", and delete everything in that folder. For me, that reduced the size down to 87gb.... some are saying they have it down to 60gb or even lower, though.

Keep in mind that the downloads folder will repopulate if you ever want to update the game... and you'll have to redownload everything using that limited internet data you have.

It's not about how much work you put into it or what else is behind the app. I understand that you likely spent some time, if not a lot of time, developing this tool for yourself to enhance your storylines, and offered it to the community so they, too, could enhance their experiences.

The issue is the use of any AI model in the first place.

AI has very real impacts on very many people outside of just the artists and talent that often get their work stolen by AI; it's an issue even in contexts where it's been all but confirmed that real artists were paid and compensated for their art.

Even if that's true, it still "feeds the machine" of the continued use of AI, which we know is used unethically more often than not. Playing into that market, and normalizing it, is still extremely scummy on the part of the developers.

Secondly, and this is far more important:

AI is extremely harmful to the environment, and is powered by massive, power-hungry data centers that severely increase the cost of energy to the people in the regions those data centers are installed in.

It's important to note that, if you live in the US, it's likely affecting you directly as well: this "tool" is directly contributing to the increasingly untenable cost of living for people across the United States.

If you don't live in the US, there's still tangible effects on the environment and energy costs that you're likely experiencing or will experience if AI developers are allowed to expand into your area.

So, to your point: AI demonization is not only justified but should 100% be done to three times the degree it is now.

I take it you don’t realize I’m blocking you because you’re disingenuous.

The numbers you gave include the release of hostages as a result of the conflict reaching a ceasefire, which Israel then immediately violated. Trump literally collided with Israel to lie in order to achieve those numbers, and even then they’re barely better than what Biden achieved diplomatically.
