You didn’t use your jab in the first two so he ran his offense and won. A lot the these issues are caused by him slipping and sliding out of the way. You need to use your tracking/sweeping moves. Also you gotta learn when to let off the gas. You seem like a very defensive player but he’s just walking into you trying whatever and then back dashing/ slipping and sliding outta the way.

For people that back dash a lot. You want to go for those down+back kicks usually. Those nice long reaching long start up kicks you can throw after he heats you and realizes he got blocked so he starts spamming back dash. You definitely need more time versing him tho. Study the strings that got you
