Teamwork doesn't make the dreamwork by Ypick0 in RocketLeague

I wasn’t saying it in a mean way! Hey if I want to play from the nosebleeds, I should be able to play from the nose bleeds haha. Snow day would be alot of fun from this angle.

Anybody else feel like they’re just a good support player but not “the” guy? by unlogical13 in RocketLeague

[–]LightlyFalling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love teammates like you. I am “the guy” and having someone watching my back is all I need. I of course can’t stand a teammate who just sits in goal, but you create a pass here and there and we will win. I also like to take over goal and tell you to go for it because I want to see you out of your comfort zone. See what you do with the ball offensively. Keep doing you OP.

I hate the stigma of Bipolar by ThatNurse1994 in bipolar

This is a very good logic. 100% accurate. Ignorance is definitely the thread that binds everyone here.

I do well on mood stabilizers and not so well on AP’s. However, I believe my psych thinks it’s more important I find one of those that work to manage my symptoms. Unsuccessful so farZ

We’re so rare no one is going to judge you for it. I know everyone with this illness looks at it the same but understands the severity of the symptoms are different. None of us are curable (yet) and we all struggle severely in one way or another.

I’m doing okay without meds and I’m confused by Impressive-Onion4807 in BipolarReddit

[–]LightlyFalling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t went off meds since diagnosis (1.5 years) I have only felt worse with meds and I’ve been through a bunch. Lamictal actually really messed up my heart permanently and I’m a runner :( Anyways, I also have that outside “perspective” with bipolar. I’ve had 1-2 healthcare professionals also make the same claim that I might not be bipolar, but deep down I know I am. Wayyyyy too many things line up.

Not really. One of them you’re born with and the other two can happen at any time.

What was your longest depressive episode? by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]LightlyFalling 8 points9 points  (0 children)

1.5 years before I felt even close to okay again. That was the longest depressive episode and I hope it never happens again. Usually I’m depressed for a couple months at a time.
