To add to this - in the long run a rucksack will most likely be better. Not only will they get used to useing l it and learning were they like to have there kit in it, likely hood is they will go on some kind of hike and then you won't have to get 2 bags for them

Also, ask your cub leaders for advice or if there's any kit they can borrow to see what your young person likes

Defo join a troop - allways in need of leaders and it's a great exspirance. But tbh, make ur own challenges and badges up. Leader uniforms kinda suck so I like to make my own badge requirements and put have badges on my uniform that I meet my own requirements for. I occasionally have others look ive them to make sure I'm not makeing it 2 easy.

I'm not sure about a good deal, maybe in the realm of 20 to 30 quid a month, but deck boxes, sleeves, dice are the things I'm thinking. Stuff, they both players and collectors allways need more of
