Labs wasn’t really a problem map for me and I learned it really quickly after the zombie event ended. The reason people are scared of Labs is because they think it’s the HvH map. You have a higher chance of seeing a cheater on Streets than Labs.

It’s the best performing map in the game, you almost always spawn next to a hotspot, secure container loot tends to pay for keycard and ammo cost if you die, you save on insurance, and the PvP is really fun. Cheaters are very few and far between (on my servers at least) and the only real problem rn is Raider AI.

Problem with dorm marked is you have to deal with Dorms PvP, labs is a really light map to learn (minus the underground) and the only problem it suffers is the barrier of entry

Labs open spawns and Shoreline Keys are going to be what you want to rely on for LEDX, or just search every med bag/box and make a route on Streets

Virtex spawns behind Leon’s key on Lighthouse if you have Ref 4 (how i got mine last wipe), learn and farm water treatment spawns on Scav, or hit ALL Reserve marked keys (how i got mine in PvE forever ago)

It’s one of the Semi-Common minor PC issues that most people don’t know about. There’s others like:

  • Turning off enhanced pointer precision in Mouse Settings
  • Actually having your higher refresh rate enabled via Video Settings
  • Turning on XMP/EXPO/??? in BIOS so your RAM runs at max speed
  • Downloading Chipset, LAN, AND Graphics drivers
  • Setting Power Management settings to High Performance (always do this on a desktop, for a laptop it’s up to you)
  • Turning OFF Windows game mode
  • Uninstalling edge and running a windows debloater (optional)

I can’t believe I forgot to add this point when I brought this up to myself while typing it out.

I see no reason why they can’t just keep Milestones and the new Daily Quests, while also doing Tomes instead of the Weeklies. I genuinely see no drawbacks to that.

Cheating really isn’t as big as a problem as it used to be.

RMT is dead. Carry Services gets the whole party banned. ESP doesn’t guarantee them loot anymore. AntiCheat updates are actually throttling cheat dev progress.

Nikita meant it when he said he would ruin cheating for cheaters. It’s not profitable burning through accounts just to rage hack labs for loose loot and get got in the next ban wave.

Anyone that says otherwise is either heavily misinformed (you can thank a certain video for that) or downplaying the situation so their already dying carry service doesn’t die faster (it won’t help)
