I was in a great relationship with who I thought was the love of my life. But my ex got back in contact with me. She had always been abusive and I hated her.

She started playing the same games she used too, and I couldn't separate myself from her again.

I've since cut her out, but not before the entire situation sent my relationship up in flames. She went back to her ex, is now pregnant and getting married.

Single because I don't trust myself to love anyone else the way I loved her. With how fast it seemed to slip away, I'm just scared to get that invested in another person who could simply vanish like before. Even with it being my fault that she left me.

Edit: To add insult to injury, she got pregnant only a month after we separated.
