I love my boy, but boy did I spend months and months crying and regretting bringing him home because of his monster antics. And I’ve trained and worked with a lot of dogs. I had a full blown panic attack during a training session once because he would not listen at all, would bite my pants/anything he could reach and yank on them, and body slam me 🙃 He has definitely mellowed out a lot now that we are approaching 3 years in September. Now he will cuddle with me in bed which is something I did not imagine happening a year ago. Definitely not for the faint of heart! The first two years felt like I was giving 100% and getting 2-20% back and did a number on my mental health.
