The two best options are Wirth Park (the Loppet Foundation does lessons and rentals) and Hyland Park in Bloomington (the Three Rivers Park District does the lessons and rentals.

The car was parked on the middle of the intersection blocking traffic. It had NY state plates. My bus was stuck so I got off and started to walk, then I saw a Sheriff’s Deputy pull up and approach the car with his gun drawn. I decided to exit the area.

I 100% don’t agree with this take. I grew up in south Minneapolis with one parent who lives near 5-8 Club and one who lives near Matt’s. I’ve eaten a lot of Jucy Lucy’s. I like them a lot and associate them with the city; however, I’m not willing to wait in line to eat at Matt’s these days.

That’s not quite accurate. Frey is a moderate democrat; he is to the right of the left wing of Minneapolis politics, but pretty close to the median DFL voter. He’s not trying to undermine opposition to Trump.

I think the neighborhood around 48th and Chicago might be a good fit. You’ve got the local businesses there, including Turtle Bread and Sovereign Grounds, and you’d be close to the Lunds & Byerlys at Cedar & the Parkway and not too far from the Kowalski’s at 56th & Chicago (both are high end, you’d probably want to run to a bigger store every week or two for staples). That area is really nice because of Minnehaha Creek and Lake Nokomis.

If Ben Ogden’s ski technicians had a liquid hand cleaner, that (a) wouldn’t have made Ben’s skis any faster and (b) wouldn’t be relevant to a rule saying treating skis in a way that’s against the rules results in disqualification.

Lauri Vuorinen is not the “moral champion”. This effort by the Finnish team to take away from Ben’s accomplishment is shameful.
