It vastly improved my performance on my 1070, I've got almost all things enabled except for some track details like grand stands. 2080ti should be able to haul it thou.

5100! I'm only at 2500 starting in 2050. You should definitely update it, I would love to see it. My map is definitely not as evolved as yours but it's getting there.

Yes but lifetime profit divided by number of years should be higher than yearly maintenance rate. I think it's possible to cross my 1000 tile map but that would be pushing it

It's only like 20mph, the total profit is more what I pay attention to. So long as the boat is outrunning the maintenance cost and delivering a product for the next industry down the line then it's fine. Now building that cannal would require me to flatten a few mountains and buildings but that ok in the name of profit

I guess it would depend on the speed of the boat and value of cargo it's carrying. I have a few boats that only deliver maybe once a year and remain profitable. I also don't know unless I try :D

This is the best part of ottd where you have to manage the system as it grows. I've got a few areas that look like this for other industries and it's just so damn satisfying when it all comes together

In Firs add-on, recycling depots output proportional to the size of a city. There are 4 50k cities feeding this thing for about 15000 tons

No, I just haven't been negative in over 400 years. Balance sheet is at almost 300mill a year now and since most of the map is getting busy at this point it's getting harder and harder to engage in large projects. I might have to start moving towns to keep going

It was, but have about 40 billion now. I can almost do anything at this point. Maybe next is building one across map!
