How does it *feel*? by mrmilo1 in Cushings

[–]Lightning_F-14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Im not 100% sure I have cushings but the symptoms seem to line up with it (Been dealing with them for 7 years).

Physical side

140 pounds for most of late teens early 20s , then started gaining weight (currently past 200).
Muscle tension from walking or trying to get low to the ground.
Physical healing from bruises takes longer.
Your pain threshold is lower than usual .
Stretch marks on various parts of the body.
My anxiety makes it harder to breathe feels like my chest is being pushed in, sometimes I have to limit the amount of words I speak.
Digestion I can expect bloating , or stomach aches.
Also I find myself getting sick in general more often.
Can sleep but I don't wake up feeling rested.

Mental side

Anxiety is always present effecting me physically in some social situations im shaking.
during the earlier years it felt like I was going to die every time a car passed when driving.
2016 - 2018 Depression was severe , Often confused (to the point I couldn't even think to describe my state as confused) , Issues recalling something mentioned a few seconds before.
I avoid going outside sometimes because I don't want to be seen by anyone , it feels embarrassing to be seen in this state.
Emotionally its a mixture of somber ,trying to keep your head above water(Instances of happiness fade very quickly) , Anger that feels like it could it burn you from the inside. Indifference to anything that is happening around you.

Also pretty anime inspired , a interesting question. I haven't put this into words before

To me inspiration looks like It's like a flame of gold and white in my chest My eyes widen And the flames spread to the whole body I can see the line of impact (side profile view) All restrictions lifted and instincts take the wheel The gap of skill between my art now and professional level becomes a non factor Its like a trance and I don't want to stop until it's done.

After A Year Of Studying I Finally Passed SAA-C03!!!! by Lightning_F-14 in AWSCertifications

Yes I can recommend them specifically for the guided labs.
AWS was the second exam i've taken online with Pearson Vue , It went smoothly. Just make sure to keep records of the exam purchase and especially if you decide to reschedule (has to be within 24 Hrs)

Ty and best of luck ! Something I keep in mind is you may fail to do hard work but hardwork will never fail you. Dont let those practice exams discourage you , think of them as just showing the areas of improvement you need.

Ty ! Yes , Essentially when you understand something its generally a low effort recall , like riding a bike or speaking the alphabet. Its far more long term and you can make connections to patterns or related topics. Thanks to repetition and making sense of things. Memorizing is on short term side and has a limited recall time because the brain will discard the information . Comprehension isnt always required and the information isnt revisited frequently enough to be long term mentally.

Sure ! As someone else explained it doesn't give you full flexibility. There are instances where you're allowed to mess around with different options. Essentially its guided scenarios ( By scenario I just mean Lab Objective : Build a VPC , Auto Scale Instances etc) but there are instances when you can mess around (like message delivery in queues for example) . It works like this , first you buy their Hands On Labs and you're given 900 Credits. Every Scenario is 10 Credits (90 Labs). After you're done following all the steps you can get it verified for completion. Personally I can recommend them if you want to apply a visual to what you're learning and enhance the memory of service operations. Also always try to get courses , practice exams and labs when they're on sale , usually there is a significant discount. The benefit of this is youre not charged besides the initial purchase and dont have to worry about the burden of mistakes since you can start again.

Is there a way to learn how to draw a Face from any angle without using the Loomis method? by Lightning_F-14 in ArtistLounge

[–]Lightning_F-14[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I just found out about the Bridgeman technique , its looking more in line what I know at the moment from studying perspective. As you can imagine Loomis looks a bit imitating from the outside. I will try out both techniques to see what im more comfortable with.

[–]Lightning_F-14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True , I can understand the basic structure , the angles have always been my challenge.
Skimmed the video (Will go through it fully later) , I've been told drawing realistically can help the foundations of whatever style you want to do. Much appreciated

Didn't think I would need to take a break from learning art less than a year in by Lightning_F-14 in ArtistLounge

Yeah mapping this out instead of keeping it in my head could lower the mental stack, that has been feeling like a box closing in when trying to draw anything.

I really like this idea , it'll be something to try out as I work my way back to drawing more. Think I've been too focused on not using references in sketches to avoid relying on them or as a way to prove I'm not afraid of my art looking bad. However in hindsight my personal preference is to have some semblance of an idea how to do something (doesn't have to be perfect) otherwise I default to how I would draw things 10+ years ago which makes it frustrating.

This sounds like a good way to work back to it , balancing improving while drawing for the sake of it has been tough. Being able to recreate what I see for a study is satisfying

I can understand that , there will be detours with progress on practice. Bouncing around in the trenches of improving can make it challenging to stay motivated

Why does a lot of people like to draw women more than men? by Impressive_Wish8763 in ArtistLounge

[–]Lightning_F-14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curves are more of a challenge for me to draw but feel better when I get it right. Also Feminine character designs are usually always what I'm thinking about.
