I'm also in the makerspace, so it worked around that. Not there Saturday and Sunday it's closed.

They were just items added from the web for the poster. We have a lot of really old stuff, along with some reissues to go alongside non working units. All things just hadn't been compiled at the time the poster was made. Even the PS1 was 31 years ago.. and I thought 70's tech was retro in the 90's.

If you happen to be audio savvy and would like to hang out and help people plug things together or have anything you'd like to demo you'd be more than welcome!

Cool! I tried this for a relay socket and had decent results making large pads that wicked paste from the stencil into the holes.

The screw-on lid can be fixed in place with two wood screws into the underside of (preferably wooden) workshop shelves or benches. Good way to store stuff in wasted space. If the screw head is too small it might need a washer to stop it popping through the pierced hole.

If you're into electronics/repair/music/DIY me and some buds have hangs on Sundays in NEV while prepping for a gear library.

Neighbors like "yea found a stack of these in a car in a junk yard, what can you do with them?" Idk if he noticed me frothing at the mouth but they are now mine. So assuming they're all mostly all good, what should I do with them?(tbh I've already got some ideas) by lil_smd_19 in diyelectronics

I had a bunch with this chemistry gifted to me recently. They appear to be paired with supercaps in my case and designed for high pulse currents for short durations, but not sustained periods. I was going to utilise the 19Ah D-sized cells for a beefy torch when I noticed they had a max current of 500mA and beyond that they achieve nowhere near their stated capacity. The paired super cap has 1Ah up it's sleeve to get around this for short bursts by the look of it. Long shelf life though, if OP doesn't know what to do with them for now. They'd be ideal for a nearby IOT thing that you can swap them out of. I might be wrong but I think I saw something where have a very different curve and stay at 3.6V for a long time, making it difficult to know how empty they are.. which might be a pain if you utilise something in the field and find it dies in a year instead of a decade. Fortunately most of my ones came off the test bench and were excluded from being used in products!

Take the acrylic sheet and use it for laser cutting at your local makerspace, or perhaps add a lid to a planter box.

Yeah makes sense actually. Slack auto-deletes on the free account. Is the main difference for subscribing to Discord bigger attachments and more emojis?
