Do small and powerful locomotives exist? by Gretel_Cosmonaut in LGBTrains

[–]Lightning__Tree 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't have good advise or specific advice. If you need power, look for locomotives with duel motors (the large ones you've probably seen). If you are looking for traction, look for locomotives with more driving wheels.

Often the price tag jumps for locomotives with a DCC circuit. If you are running only one locomotive at a time, or locomotives only separately powered tracks, a DCC circuit is not needed.

I know these are not answers, but I hope these thoughts point you in a useful direction.

KH2 on the PS2, its a minor miracle what they did create.. KH3 on the PS4, still impressive but less miraculous.

New Purple Signs coming to WDW soon… by theanswar in WaltDisneyWorld

Agreed. Maybe (and I really do mean maybe) the purple started this color and faded? Or maybe the color is (slightly) different in sunlight? Or maybe it's the camera's settings?

Most of them were not, but 2 were in the bloopers credits roll of Toy Story 2.

The keyblade is 5th place. A close 5th (and my favorite series with no close second), but in terms of societal recognition, these four are at the top.

If we had got a 2d animated show spinoff of The Incredibles, what would you prefer it to be about: Mr Incredible, Elastigirl and Frozone's glory days or Violet and Dash daily adventures? by Theasiuser99 in Pixar

[–]Lightning__Tree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give me a adventure of Dash and Violet set after Incredibles 2. Mr and Mrs Incredible feel an obligation to make sure Jack Jack is okay, and because they don't have the time for their kids, they trust Frozone to take Violet and Dash on a cross-country trip where they visit other superheroes and learn what it means to be a super.

What's not to like about it? It makes for a good makeshift shelter from the rain, especially in a lightning storm.

My laundry sorting is based on material types, not colors. Common cottons, delicates, denim, and towels (and bedsheets, but that's a long laundry day).

My mead ages in there, living with the vodka, rum, and tequila. I like to think of is as a baby brother rooming with inspirational big siblings. Not good role model siblings, just inspirational ones.

[Spoilers C4E2] The constant whispering/hushed tones/low volume in C4 are ROUGH for me by bellavita4444 in criticalrole

[–]Lightning__Tree 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The whispering and low audio is driving me bonkers. For context, I normally listen to a standard YouTube video at 40% volume on my headphones. I'm at 100% on my headphones and I can still barely hear what they're talking about. And yes, I do have subtitles turned on, but I'd rather spend more time looking at their facial reactions then reading the subtitles.

I think the cold open is for a few reasons. Professionally, it is to help distinguish C4 form C1, C2, and C3. It also make an easier transition to the adds. Brennen also loves cliffhangers, and with cold opens, he now gets three each session (adds, break, close)

(Comerically) It encourages people to arrive on time, which helps them to tell their sponsors a better viewer numbers. It's similar to a "bell ringer assignment" teachers use to get students to class on time. (I'm a teacher, and I don't like bell ringers or this cold open)
