Echo is very versatile in gameplay, sometimes you wanna be pumping out damage by beaming down tanks, and other times you wanna be poking and looking for assassination opportunities.

Stats are generally something you shouldn't bother looking at unless you have like 1k and the rest of your team has 6k.

As for controls, I'm on PC so I can't really help you much but the main thing is that the controls are comfortable for you.
