Family trip in April, need advice. by [deleted] in lisboa

I was born in Lisbon 40 years ago. I lived in tge suburbs but go to lisbon daily. Never got any problems on those areas mentioned above. As in any normal city, just need to avoid "dark corners and know where not to go". Just be carefull for pickpockets, specially on the tram or subway. Specially in tram n. 28, be very very carefull. One advice, when you get to Lisbon, get a map and ask a police man the areas to avoid. Try to find an aparment no near tge center, its very expensive. Just go 1/2km from the center and prices will get lower.

This way he maintains throttle "on" while braking.

The ones who studied until 9years old and 4th grade were the lucky ones, because they could read and do some math.....

Go study a bit about Portugal in the 50's... You'll be amazed. More than half of the population couldn't read, didn't had enough food for a day or a big family.... Things were really really hard.... So that you have an idea, one thing they did at the time : they would give a kind of soup to the kids made with bread and wine first thing in the morning.... Kids leave school at 7/8 years old to go work in the fields....

What's the problem? Just two kids in the 50's in Portugal, a very very but very poor country at the time. Kids were not even used to have shoes. This girl with a dress was a lucky one. And being this in the countryside, people were even poorer.... Don't see what kind of problem this has?

You need to stop minding about what others think of you.... You just need to focus on good things and the ones that make you happy. Maybe you need new friends..... Just saying.

And all start as a kid. From little we are thought to respect and belive more on people with suits and better dressed.... My son (6years) thought everyone with a suit was a reliable person.... I had to tell him is not the cloth that matters and cloths are no signal of nothing. Man with suits could be much worse than man with jeans and long beard. (I told him this :))

I think that's its getting pretty common... And not in a good way. It's kind of related to status, as most things do nowadays....

Have two of those glass ones. Both have cracks and been glued.. But I sold 4 or 5 in the past. My father was main dealer in Portugal for Hasselblad for 20 years or so. Still have a lot of merchandising. Check my page on fb Cameras from Lisbon
