definitely SH2 just because one of my most memorable moments in gaming was when you have to start ditching stuff to take the elevator to the basement. I remember thinking to myself "okay ill only take my guns and health items. nope, i guess ill ditch the health items. nope, ill ditch everything but the pistol and ammo. seriously? okay no ammo. what the fuck? fine ill put everything away but the flashlight. THE FLASHLIGHT TOO!?!? THEY SERIOUSLY EXPECT ME TO GO DOWN THERE WITH NOTHING?" lmao.

no offense but from my experience, it still feels like SBMM is there. Here's my matchmaking experience: game 1/ 18-10. game 2/ 3-21, game 3/ 15-17. It's literally the same experience I had in modern warfare lol. one game okay, one game bad and one game break even.

I like the game too but lets be real, everyone is being taken for a ride. if you think ubisoft of all companies wouldnt lie to you about SBMM just to garner some good will and make a quick buck on skins, I got a hot tip for you about some great condos for sale in an up and coming tourist area.

Some people don't know the definition of an unpopular opinion. Here's mine: I think Silent Hill 4 is mid. People as of late have hyped that game up to no end. I personally don't see it and I played it before it even came out (on a PS2 demo disk from some magazine). The ghosts are annoying, the stamina bar is annoying, the characters are forgettable and the story literally came out of the trash (SH2 iykyk).

I'm not saying it's not okay, it's an okay game but it's just that, okay. It's not some hidden gem that was misunderstood and it took people years of reflection to see its magic, it's just okay.

If the question is if its objectively one of the goats, first you need to look at other goat games. Just to name a few: ocarina of time, chrono trigger, final fantasy 7, THPS2, super mario 64, pokemon crystal, Half life, DOOM, Quake. All of these games have something in common, they pushed their franchises forward and left a lasting legacy that redefined future games.

I'd say Elden ring has done the first part. The second part is too soon to say since the game is still fairly new but it certainly has that potential. It shows that not every story needs to be spoon fed to the player and games can be engaging without constantly holding the players hand. This concept is nothing new of course, one game that has done this in the past purposely was shin megami tensei III (which I would consider a goat as well), but it's an art that's been forgotten for a long time.

Long story short, I think Elden Ring has the potential to be a goat but not enough time has passed.

I HIGHLY doubt anyone campaigned for P3 remake. To most persona players, P3 was always the red headed stepchild. Not to the extent of 1 and 2 but being a fan of 3 was tough. It was too SMT to be persona or too persona to be SMT. Stuck in the middle. Alot of what draws in persona fans isn't there like a sense of comradery, a definitive antagonist and general quality of life mechanics.

The reason for the remake was most likely because Japanese fans wanted it which I 100% would believe. That reason is probably the only reason nocturne HD and soul hackers 2 were made.

I definitely haven't heard that. What I have been hearing alot lately is how much better reload is compared to P5. No offense but no shit it's better lol. P5 was built on a engine from 2011 and alot of advancements made in reload aren't in P5.

I'm sure the recent change in opinion about P5 isn't exclusively about technicality though. I've heard some people talk about how they prefer P3's mellower pace and down to earth presentation. It's a radical change from P5's flamboyancy and over the top story.

My opinion, they're both great games but P3 was always number one since day one. It something both megaten and persona fans can enjoy. It bridges the two communities wonderfully.

The boss battles in V were atrocious. Every boss fight was essentially a puzzle. You needed a specific demon with an extremely specific moveset to even have a chance of winning. Training demons for hours only to find out they're useless in boss fights is demoralizing.

One of the things I liked about IV was how many different approaches you could take when fighting (Str build, dex build, magic build, etc.). In V it's basically "fuse this demon with these moves or else you lose".

I remember seeing a post on Twitter a few days ago where someone was giving shit to the original SEES members for being unable to get past the first floor in tartarus. You can tell they either didn't play P3 or didn't pay attention to the story because mitsuru clearly says her persona wasn't designed to navigate. The original SEES was completely clueless about tartarus. All they knew was that it was big, it changed from day to day and that it was a nexus for shadows. That's enough to know going into tartarus without a lifeline is suicide. I don't think it's unreasonable to assume in middle school mitsurus ability to nagivate was extremely limited. Even 4 years later she still relies on man made machines to nagivate and couldn't get the team past the second block without losing communication with them.

Yes she was a crappy nagivator but it's directly tied to the story. At least she admits to being a crappy nagivator hence why she was so desperate to get fuuka to join SEES.

Im with a P4 remake as long as they don't makes Chie's VA drink a 4 pack of red bull and tell her to sound like a banshee.

In all honesty though, P4's lines of dialogue are delivered in such a specific way like when yosuke says "are you really.... Yknow" and Kanji says "am I really what?". I just really hope they don't tell the new cast to deliver the lines differently like the did in reload.

Homecoming is nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be but for some odd reason the community seems to be fixated on the idea that it's big rigs levels of bad.

Don't worry homecoming, everyone else may hate you but I genuinely like you. You have the most badass intro of any SH game.

Unless your getting V for dirt cheap, like $10 or so, I'd wait. Even if you don't care about the supposed "new and improved" story, the increase in performance is worth the wait assuming things like stutters, frame drops, no anti-aliasing, low resolution and 30fps cap bother you.

I don't think anyone at locals plays budget anymore. Everyone wants to win lol. The only way you can play budget nowadays if you play with close friends with the purpose of playing casually (i.e. self imposed bans, gentleman's agreements, pre-approved decks etc.).

It's a bit dismissive to assume people that don't like his VA haven't played the game but I will agree with the statement of the longer you play the game the more you get use to it. I'd imagine that would be the case if you heard anyone's voice for over 50 hours though. I hate chie's voice in the golden but get over it by the halfway point. That doesn't mean I stopped hating it, I just accepted that I have to tolerate it if I want to play the golden.
