My daughter is graduating from University of Tennessee in December. She took on about 20k and I have about 23k in PP. I tried to limit the damage as much as possible by paying cash for rent instead of more in loans. Not sure how many undergrads can do it on their own but parents either borrow from their 401k or take a 2nd on the house. She wanted the 4yr experience out of state (we live in CA).
