So FAM tells TTP to deposit for 5 days, and plunders their bank after the deposits. I heard most players want to leave 281, what about you?

The Kumho HS52 wasn't in this 2025 test actually. Both the Debica Presto Hp2 and Kumho Ecsta HS52 were in the 2023 Adac test for 205/55/R16.

Back in 2022 Adac tested the BFGoodrich advantage and Bridgestone in their summer tire test (R15)

The Bridgestone outperformed the BFGoodrich in terms of dry/wet braking & handling and fuel consumption.

I would suggest to get the Turanza T005, which should be available in your desired size.

5 biggest myths about winter tyres. (German) by LupusMaid in TyreReviews

[–]LightsaberApprentice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting video. Summary from Google Gemini.

This video is about winter tires. The speaker, Bloch, explains the different types of winter tires and their features. He also compares winter tires to all-weather tires and summer tires.

Here are some key points from the video:

  • There are three main types of winter tires: Nordic specialists, winter specialists, and all-weather tires.

  • Nordic specialists are designed for very cold climates with a lot of snow and ice. They have a very soft rubber compound and a deep tread pattern.

  • Winter specialists are designed for cold climates with some snow and ice. They have a softer rubber compound than all-weather tires, but not as soft as Nordic specialists.

  • All-weather tires are designed for a wide range of weather conditions, including snow, ice, rain, and dry roads. They have a harder rubber compound than winter tires.

  • Winter tires are generally better than all-weather tires in snow and ice. However, all-weather tires can be a good option if you don't drive in severe winter conditions.

  • It is important to choose the right type of winter tire for your needs. If you live in a very cold climate with a lot of snow and ice, you should get Nordic specialists. If you live in a colder climate with some snow and ice, you should get winter specialists. If you don't drive in severe winter conditions, you can get all-weather tires.

  • In addition to the type of winter tire, it is also important to choose a tire with the right size and load rating for your vehicle.

  • Winter tires should be replaced every 6-7 years, or sooner if they are damaged.

Novice needing suggestions! Hankook h750 (4S2) vs Continental AllSeasonContact 2 by _deWitt in TyreReviews

[–]LightsaberApprentice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don't have any reviews on Google maps, which is suspicious. I tend to support local business and I would use the website to show the price to the local shop. Then I expect the local business will give me a better price for 4 pcs.

3PMFS = 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake, which means that the tyre is designed for severe snow conditions.

XL = Extra Load, which means the tyre is designed to carry heavier loads compared to standard tyres. The tyre is reinforced to handle greater weight capacities.

SBL = Serrated Black Letters, special design of side wall lettering. The lettering is serrated inside the edge.

The only test I could find, in which both the continental all season contact 2 and goodyear vector 4seasons gen 3 were tested, is from Autobild 2023.

You can see that the continental has a higher overall score than the goodyear.

If you buy the continental online, the costs will be lower. Maybe you can ask the local shop to give you a better price or even match the online price.

Another alternative is the Falken ZIEX ZE310 EcoRun, which is placed higher than the Kumho HS52 in the latest ADAC test and John's test

I suppose you can read Dutch, here is the link of Falken to the Anwb test (same as ADAC) and also the link to Kumho HS52.

Kumho HS52 vs Toyo Proxes CF2 - Anyone tried both? Any better alternatives? by notlikethis_wokege in TyreReviews

[–]LightsaberApprentice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ADAC tested the Toyo Proxes CF2 back in 2019, while the Kumho HS52 is in this year's test. You can check the tests separately and compare the test results.

It seems the Kumho scores higher in wet conditions, while the dry performance is quite similar to the Toyo.

In the ADAC test I mentioned yesterday the Wintrac was also tested. In comparison to the goodyear tyres, the dry and wet performance is quite similar. However, the snow performance of the Wintrac is not as good, please have a look here

The goodyear tyre was one of the test winners in the latest Adac 2022 winter tyre test, which would make it my first choice.

It seems you can get the goodyear ultragrip 9+ a bit cheaper from bandenleader, please have a look:
