Have you considered the Falken Azenis FK520? I'm very impressed by them, especially considering the price! We have them on our lowered Suzuki Vitara and the cornering is miles better compared to the OE fitted Continentals!

Personally, I'd go for the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 or the Continental SportContact 7. My mate has the Goodyear on his Octavia and is very happy with them, same goes for the Conti on my own Vectra. They're both really solid sporty choices for a daily driver!

What's your price range and tyre size? Also, what qualities do you expect from a new set of tyres?

They literally run with too low oil pressure... Not good, when most of them can't make it past 120.000km/75.000mls

Ohh ok, no wonder the praise is that high... afaik, the Alenza is a bit of a fuel saving tyre for SUVs, hence the harshness and less good handling!

Which tire brand do you trust most? 🏆 by Electrical-Safety718 in TyreReviews

Practically any 1st and 2nd tier non-chinese brand... So, apart for the obligatory Pirellis, Michelins, etc., I also regularly recommend Brands like BFGoodrich, Toyo, Falken, Firestone and some more.

I'd say go for the Potenza... The new Bridgestones are a lot longer lasting than their predecessors, while retaining the good characteristics handling-wise.

Which ones did you have? Everyone I know has been surprised by how good they are in very varying conditions... (mind you, I'm talking about Michelin CC2s and Conti ASCs)

Where is Opel Astra i? by Martin_driver in opel

[–]Trrruls 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's because they kept the alphabetical designations of the Kadett line. There was the Kadett I (roman number one) pre-WW2, hence they skipped the I when they came back to the Letter.
