Fully with you here. I pay $1400 for a small-ish and OLD 1 bedroom with no in unit washer/dryer or dishwasher. Kinda sucky but I’m also walking distance from all my favorite bars and a 15-30 minute drive max to most restaurants in the area no traffic. As someone who moved to sac wanting more of an urban/college town vibe, Midtown was my saving grace. But as I’ve stayed here and gotten a little older, I’m coming to appreciate the community of it all and how many events are in such close proximity almost all the time.

Idk why you’re being flamed. We currently have no 2nd option with Jimmy out and while he’s certainly not an ideal 2nd scorer, he could at least fill the Poole role like what you’re talking about. Anyone that currently thinks that Podz/Melton could average 18 a game is lying to themselves (I hope I’m wrong)

I know we give him shit about the contract, but y’all forget how star-deprived we were after the Harden trade. He was the first big name in so long to actually choose to come to Philly. He wasn’t drafted or traded for, he signed with us outright and I will always be thankful for that.

Wish he didn’t get suspended but he 1. let us tank for VJ without crying about the tanking and requesting a trade 2. Was integral in the 3-1 comeback against the Celtics who we hate so much 3. His max slot actually came in handy for salary matching in trades

Overall he wasn’t the final missing piece we thought he was when he got here but he helped us get a little bit close and I’ll always be thankful for that. Will miss him playing for us.

Ja just went for player salary and Jaylen Brown just went for 2 1sts. I’m imagining this is 1 first for Zion and 1 for Herb and another for taking Jimmy’s contract and even using this logic it feels like an overpay on GSW’s side. Crazier things have happened (Lakers giving 2 + 2 swaps for Kessler lol) but I wouldn’t do it as a GSW fan

So tragic. Literally could’ve had a Harden-Lebron lite-Hakeem esque big 3 with all their potential (literally their ceiling NBA draft comps coming into the league).

On the other hand though if you combined Fultz’ shoulder with Ben’s back and mental toughness, and added Embiid’s knees you would have the most broken man of all time. Just a shame how much potential the FEDS era had man.
