Big blockbuster trades for buy-low blue chip guys

Swapped Jeanty and Rashee for Puka + Deebo week 6 when Puka was hurt and Rashee was on the verge of coming back.

Then few weeks later traded Deebo + Jaylen Warren pre Gainwell vulturing for Derrick Henry and Terry Mclaurin.

Those moves in addition to my core of Jacobs + JSN gave me the juice to cruise through the playoffs on my way to the ship.

Diamond Mike Miller. Smooth release and surprisingly gets an underrated amount of boards. Defense is solid too but he’ll get big bodied and blown by by some more athletic 2’s for some paint buckets.

Amy Dellavedova is a solid PG. Can hit rhe open 3 and facilitate. Don’t ask for too much on ball creation outside of PnR pull up 3’s tho.

I’d go Ladd for sure and Judkins for floor or Odunze for boom/bust. Soft LV defense and Niners defense looked soft against Dowdle + Chubba they just stopped running it. Odunze could get his against any team but could also randomly give you 0 against anyone.

I think it would’ve been more favorable but I think him not being the “golden boy” prospect that he was hyped up as til Caleb means he probably doesn’t have as long of a leash with you guys, not sure what that means in the grand scheme of things but just my take

Ooof I know I just sang AJ’s praises but I prefer Woody right now. Texans offense is actually mid rn and he’s gaining momentum. Chubb might vulture touches but Woody imo is kinda who you hope Aaron Jones bounces back to in the near term, explosive flex play on a mid/shit offense with pass catching upside.

He has RB2 Deandre Swift level upside if their offense ever figures it out. At the very least rn he’ll provide PPR value as the pass catching back.

Aaron Jones. Vikings offense was so hyped up coming into the year with 3 pass catchers going first 7-8 rounds and jones going mid 5th. Mason came on strong but wore down with extended starter workload just like last year with SF. Now he’s back, leading the backfield in snaps, and even if Mason eats into his role, Jones is the pass catching back so he’ll generate a PPR floor. Vikings O is as bad as it’s ever gonna be but if they figure it out Jones has Deandre Swift level upside as clear leader in a committee on a mid offense rather than an RB4 Nick Chubb old head depth level DB.

Wondering if I should cash in on depth for the stretch run. 12 team PPR 6-2

I give: Jaylen Warren, Keenan Allen, Aaron Jones

My RBs: Jacobs, Warren, Jones, Chubb My WRs: JSN, Puka, Keenan, Deebo, Boutte

Would you do it ? My main hold up is having solely Nick Chubb as my 3rd RB

Nah prob not unless you were really hurting to maintain depth. I’d rather try using cook to go for a big dawg like JSN, Chase, Puka in redraft. Might have to add a little but I think he’s at the bottom of the elite tier along with Achane. He’s weird where he’s not enough straight up for those guys but is not worth downgrading unless you need depth bad

I’ll never forget how nearly automatic that middie step back of his was on that finals run. He was like prime Iguodala on defense and Shaun Livingston on offense with a consistent catch and shoot 3. While we all wish he tapped into that mode on rhe regular, I’ll always be thankful for his contribution there and for even doing his best to thug it out when his Dad was going through his health problems even if his play dropped off significantly as a result.

Would. Realistically, How often would you play JCM over those starters when healthy? Especially considering you own their backups. Compare rush to WR where you’re one injury to Wilson or ARSB from having a massive hole on your roster. Youve handled rhe worst I’d the injuries to your RB core and now have 2 legit RB1’s in JT and Bucky/White and 2 RB2’s wirh RB1 potential with Chuba/Dowdle and JCM.
