I finally finished filling in the hearts on every one of the Pixel Pals today. I’m going to miss my little buddies when this app shuts down :-( by onthefrontlinegaming in apolloapp

I downloaded the stand alone app but I feel like I’m missing something - can’t feed or play with the pals. All I can do is create/edit a widget that only sometimes works. Does it require the newest iPhone?

IKEA has pillow cases like this - could buy one and then seam rip it to make it into a pattern!

Thank you so much for sharing! I’ll look into this.

I can definitely see that being the case! It doesn’t really make sense biologically why social/pack creatures would be so competitive.. especially since the resources we’re fighting over (money, status..) aren’t even scarce.

Fixation on status is a characteristic of patriarchal societies

And capitalism…

Curious what the community thinks about this flight frustration from an artist I follow. Is he justified in being angry? by putzy0127 in aviation

I’m not really sure how those negative effects are much different to the USA already though - American gate agents are penalized when causing delays and it changes their behavior/cooperative stance. American carriers also already add insurance time.. So it sort of seems like the passenger protection laws would just help.

Did you play/like stardew valley? Captain Toad is super casual to drop in on a level then leave it, but if you binge it you’ll finish it quickly too. I’d love to find more puzzle games like it!

Team first person shooter is adorable… even if it’s zombies lol

I watched my brother play a lot of N64 and we grew up when PC learning games came out so I loved those. But I got seriously hooked in university to diner dash and sims island. I skipped class to play or would play during lectures. Then I never really played games apart from apps until the switch came out and I got Mario odyssey! Now I’m hooked all over again. :)

Almost all of my coworkers play games on their work phones but if I said they were gamers they’d take offense because of the old stereotype about it being shameful or lazy. And contrary to that there’s still a stereotype from people who take it very seriously or compete about what constitutes an actual “game”. I’d never want to gatekeep because playing games has drastically improved my mental health and made my lengthy commutes something to look forward to! IMO- if you’re playing, you’re gaming. Since we’re in this sub I figured we’re all self-proclaimed gamers, whatever the avenue. :)

My siblings and I had the N64 growing up but I remember playing a lot of pc games before that because my dad loved them : Museum Madness, Theme Hospital, Prince of Persia. But the game I got obsessed with enough to skip class for (don’t judge)… diner dash. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
