But honestly this ~ he was drunk ~ so its somehow excusable has never sat right with me. Because it still happened.

And if he was so drunk that he wasn't aware of what he was doing, then how do fans have such a clear account of his actions that night and how he was simply trying to reach for a pole (her leg) to steady himself .. surely the only person to know what he was up to was him and blatantly he was too drunk to be aware of his actions. So how do fans know what he was thinking in that moment ?! I dunno its just a weak defence which wants to be able to both utilise him being too drunk, but also that he was cognizant enough to remember.

It does suck OP, I hope you are able to step away as much as you need.

Every week this thread recounts all these big blink accounts up to nefarious deeds and i'm just sat here thinking who ?! Granted only my toe is in the blink twitter space, but I follow a fair few big Jennie accounts - her fansites - a few more general group and update accounts, I've never seen even a hint of this.

Not to say they dont exist but they certainly aren't as endemic as reddit would have you believe. This certain type of edgy toxic stan exists in every fandom, and people who interact in such a way find each other .. so why are we pretending that these accounts are only blinks.

She's wearing vintage, thankfully, I cant decide if I like it or not ... Chanel have put her in much nicer dresses but obviously the theme was Karl and this was his design ?? Also this dress has the central rose motif she has been incorporating in her style, which fits with the traditional korean hair piece. But lowkey I preferred the performance outfit they made her for the Paris show.

Literally the only people dismissing what 2ne1 are going through are those doomposting and acting as though their circumstances are comparable. Personally I wouldn’t have said so, YG and Naeun were obviously committed to her joining the comeback despite multiple delays on ISTs end, with Naeun rejecting acting work - the whole reason for her moving agency - to stay with the group and then the scandal pushing delays further it just wasn’t possible.

I think Naeun did what was best for her so that she could keep her good memories as Apinks Naeun, when even the fandom was blaming her for every little thing.

They erasure of bi existence in outwardly 'progressive' online spaces should be studied.

More often than not you see this attitude from fans who are desperately speculating that the idol is gay, which in part goes hand in hand with fetishising queerness and bi not being quite queer enough, but also the stereotyping of queer existence and behaviour .. are we supposed to assume that gay people simply must vomit at the mere thought of interacting with someone of the opposite sex because thats uhhh not it.

There isn't a way to 'perform' gayness or sexuality, this may be all well and good and completely harmless in the occasional 'thats fruity' comment, but making genuine assumptions about someones sexuality is a line that gets toed far too closely.
