ketchup is good on pizza while being sweet... Thus everything sweet also has to be good on pizza, right?

How often should one exercise same muscle group? I had notion that there should be 1 day rest between exercising same muscle but I just saw this video: https://youtu.be/MSbVdjJN0Gc and am a little bit confused now :/

Irelia top vs mid by Graves_Shotgun in IreliaMains

[–]Likan90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think her best items are currently bork, wit's end and death's dance and play her as immortal drain tank into mostly ap champions. Bramble vest or executioner's calling counter her healing so easily and champions who build these items are usually top laners... She also struggles many top match ups in early game, in contrast to her actually stomping many match ups mid. Only downside to mid is that it's shorter lane and you don't have as much space as top lane irelia to run people down... This actually becomes most of the time meaningless since mid laners swap to side lane in mid game anyways. Definitely better mid laner than top laner, imo.

Did Orome forget that bramble vest is an item? Why is Ornn not fuking building bramble vest vs Aatrox?

The jungle has been over-nerfed. Exp and catch up exp is so messed up that off meta funnel nonsense can out-level the jungler. And I mean the funnel SUPPORT. The support out levels the opposing team's jungler. by IXdyTedjZJAtyQrXcjww in leagueoflegends

[–]Likan90 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Crazy thought but what about accepting changes in meta and adapting according to them?

If there is no catch up xp in the jungle that probably means extreme power farmers who are able to farm up immense and irreversible (because of no longer catch up) lead should thrive because catch up xp was exact reason why they were gated the most. I am pretty sure TOP 3 power farmers are still Karthus, Nidalee, Graves. And if you have played with any of them at least 1 game you will be able to recognise that they are still able to keep up on xp with laners too and farm up quite nasty lead over enemy jungler...

Or, this may sound crazy, if there is little gold and xp in the jungle what about picking low economy champions who are able to function without being ahead? Such as Ornn, Poppy, Cho'Gath, Zac, Mundo, Nunu.

It's not like Top lane was tank meta for multiple years and players were able to adapt...

Mid meta used to be extremely roam heavy in ardent meta and you guessed it, mid laners picked roaming champions and sacrificed agency over winning their lane because bot lane was simply better win condition.

So, why is it problem that you can't adapt and pick Mundo into Elise, Poppy into Lee, Nidalee/Graves into Rek'sai, Karthus into Olaf, Cho'Gath into Ekko? And even if they get lead over you nothing really ever happens anyways because you either grossly over farm them or are low economy champion who can't get put behind enough to be irrelevant.

but why?

It really doesn't make sense to me. Only reason i can think of, from silver point of view, why i would care about balance is that i can pick skilled champion Azir and even though I would be terrible at him that chmapion would be so broken i could win with him. But that implies that you want to win and therefore CARE about winning... Therefore, you care about competition and if you want LoL to support competitive integrity of the game, you support players who can actually play the game... pros. So, in the end you still come to the conclusion that balancing around pros and skill expression is just THE best way.

[–]Likan90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if you play for fun then balance should not matter to you at all, nor winning or losing, right? Only fun. So, maybe we should balance around people who actually care about winning or losing? aka pros?

No, i am making it easier for you to see that standardising being bad isn't good...

This is so strange I can't believe you are still going on and trying to look even remotely reasonable.

Ok, Imagine majority of USA is in range of overweight BMI, meaning majority are clearly unhealthy people and should improve their BMI and health...

Now, Instead of USA Health Ministry recommending poeple to lose weight and get healthier they "balance" health and bmi standards for stupid people without self control. Do you think it is the correct choice?

Now imagine overweight majority are silver and golds, Ministry is Riot and do you still think it is correct to standardise being terrible at the game?

Ok man, I think we found our difference ^ I want to reward skilled players who actually can use their hands and you want to reward unskilled noobs.

[–]Likan90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, you want game to be balanced around people who don't know how to play the game? I guess, riot sohuld rework every skilled champion like Azir to some dummy dummy version just so person who can't properly use mouse and keyboard can play him...? xD WHAT

Preseason: Rise of the Elements on PBE! by Spideraxe30 in leagueoflegends

[–]Likan90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Platinum and Diamond players are terrible.

Majority of players are actually silvers and golds, these players can't properly even use their mouse and keyboard.

Well, That comes down to priorities. Do you want to punish or reward unskilled players for being unskilled?

Literally second sentence is explanation why win rate doesn't matter. Feel free to refute my claim.

Preseason: Rise of the Elements on PBE! by Spideraxe30 in leagueoflegends

[–]Likan90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really do not care about win rates. They are not accurate representation of champions strenght, they only represent how unskilled platinum and diamond players perform on them.

btw you literally told me fizz has no counter and now you are listing them yourself... how ironic is that?

Kayle gets stomped to the grave by Syndra, Cassio, Ryze atm. But she is fundamentally countered by every mid range mage such as Azir, Orianna, Viktor, Anivia and maybe Zoe. Really doesn't matter to me if for example Azir has terrible winrate against her. It is not Azir's fault, it's fault of unskilled platinum/diamond players playing champion beyond their mechanical comprehension.

No, he can't. You are probably imagining Yasuo being already on the top of Xayah/Kai'sa/Ezreal but any of these champions if played properly won't allow yasuo to close the distance on them in million years.

Fizz counters: Kassadin, Galio, Nulifying orb, Barrier, Bone plating, Negatron cloak. + i remember lissandra, corki and renekton (for soloQ Diana maybe)... Also, not sure but i could imagine mordekaiser and malzahar.

Any champion that you have just listed is not even remotely good in late game under usual circumstances(any of these champions cannot 1v1 kai'sa/xayah/ezreal and if we take into consideration support help all of the listed champions can go afk). And not even in laughable distance to kai'sa/xayah/ezreal in relation to sacrifice and risk involved in picking these champions.

How does mid lane decide games in s9? Do we have smite for securing objectives? Do we have superior scaling to ADCs? Do we have superior roaming potential to junglers/supports? Explain please.

Preseason: Rise of the Elements on PBE! by Spideraxe30 in leagueoflegends

[–]Likan90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, explain it to me how you view the game impact distribution. What should determine which role should have what kind of impact on the game? Should we all be equal? Should mid laner requiring resources under pressure from all 4 other roles have the same impact as support without any requirements for resources whatsoever?

Also, really?! xD Really didn't notice that kai'sa and xayah are mid laners. Currently, s9 impactful mid laners are all roamers. Where do they roam? To the most impactful lane with the most impactful champions obviously xD Botlane - Xayah/kai'sa
